  1. Yay for more G.I.B.s! Even if the color scheme is weird, it should be fun going of my experiences on Aftershock and Goliath.
  2. La Feria looks fun! Seems like a pretty solid park, excluding the reported ridiculous height limits. I like the Tivoli in a mall, seems cool enough.
  3. I like how this El Loco's ending is slightly separate from the rest of the ride, makes it more unique.
  4. Drachen Fire looks interesting, too bad it was so rough. Do you think the ride would still be around if Arrow had started "heartlining" their rides with computer systems (Like B&M) in the late 80's/very early 90's?
  5. Nice looking park. Too bad both Cheetah and Viking Voyage were down, they look interesting.
  6. There is only one ride that broke down while I was riding, SpinCycle. Right before we did a full flip, the ride stopped spinning us, and we ended up swinging back and forth for 5 minutes before they could stop it. I guess it was weird.
  7. ^You still can't purchase a normal lift chain at home depot.
  8. It sucks that after being so massive and beautiful, Mean Streak fails to deliver.
  9. I've done only the U.S. Favs: Iron Wolf, Sidewinder, Aftershock, Timber Terror. Worst: Zeus, Bizarro SFNE (Hit it on a REALLY bad day, it was unfortunately very rough/uncomfortable and it's highly regarded reputation only made the experience worse).
  10. That themeing looks so nice! Anyone know how tall the whale is?
  11. I know it wouldn't do much for us coaster enthusiasts, but the truth is, a standard B&M hyper would be a show stopper for the GP. I remember when I lived in Wisconsin, hours from SFGAm, and many friends of mine raved about Raging Bull when we got on the subject of roller coasters. Friends that had been elsewhere with hypers of different kinds also talked highly about those rides, too. To some GP, looking up at a 200ft+ ride does make their jaw drop. I guess if it does come down to a major investment, corporate for SFStl would still probably choose RMC due to wooden coasters being relatively cheaper. If SFStl had the 20+ million though, they'd more likely choose a hyper with some Missouri-based record. It'd also probably end up being a B&M if we go off the the last few hypers Six Flags has built (Goliath La Ronde & SFOG, Nitro), though those rides were built a while ago.
  12. ^Yeah, that's pretty sad. Oh SFMM, will you ever learn..
  13. This ride looks so exciting! Can't wait to see the first drop go in.
  14. ^Yes. It was the track I suggested to coaster-inc as a test CT woodie, and I wanted it made for one of my parks that I will eventually start posting photos of on here. He started it but didn't exactly finish it, and he uploaded a partially done track (no brake run or brakes cs, etc) to his site, Real Tycoon 3. He may eventually finish it, but if so it may go to me first because of my original request. If that happens I will release it with the park I plan on putting it in.
  15. ^Agreed about that last one. Timber Terror (also using single-position buzz bars) would be a lot scarier without seat belts, and so would Cyclops.
  16. That emergency escape looks interesting. A bit scary, especially if something bad is happening to the rocket just a few feet away. As for the polercoaster, it is interesting, but will probably will be known as the ride that "goes on forever doing some cool stuff". Nothing very big about it other then height and length.
  17. Knoebols looks great! Charm, scenery, and a great ride selection. Dorney doesn't look bad either, and I completely agree about Hydra's cobra roll. Didn't see anything about Talon, did you not ride it?
  18. Glad they are using 4-car trains instead of 2-car. I was afraid for a second about capacity. Hoping this isn't full speed testing, looks like it could easily roll back on the top hat. Can't wait to see this open!
  19. Aww dang, if I hadn't moved I would have gotten to ride X-Flight and now Goliath! I guess I am satisfied with Elitches, though.
  20. That alpine slide looks so weird. I was wondering why the operator wouldn't let you go any faster, but then I realized with all the squeaking and squealing of the wheels that any faster would probably cause the ride to actually derail
  21. Bobbejaanland looks like such a pretty place. Seems to have a decent ride selection, too!
  22. As my name suggests, my favorite coaster is Iron Wolf (Yes I know I'm crazy ). These are not my pictures. Glad it still operates at SFA, though many others are not. Shout outs too: Sidewinder Timber Terror Aftershock
  23. I hope Windseeker gets replaced by a Air Race, it looks like the world needs more of those rides!
  24. Helix looks amazing! Wish I could visit when it opens, too bad for me though. Lisberg overall looks like a very nice place.
  25. Seems like you had a good time! With I could have done the Texas/Midwest trip, but I didn't have the money or the time.
