  1. Cyclops at Mount Olympus I rode 24 times in one day.
  2. Why are you guys complaining about Hades being painful? It wasn't even that rough in late 2011 in the back seat, let alone painful. If you really want a painful woodie, go ride back seat on the other great god named ride.
  3. ^I'm pretty sure a park in India bought that Boomerang. Honestly, if they get anything from Vekoma's 3 boomerang-style models, it should be a G.I.B.
  4. ^Yeah, I agree. SFNE and EG's Mind Eraser's opened the same year and I wouldn't be surprised if they both are still popular. EG's still gets 2 hour waits on popular days.
  5. Hmm It didn't say Arrow when I quoted it :/
  6. Silver Star and Shambhala say hello. Expedition GeForce and Golaith (Walibi Holland), though not hypers, are the same type of coaster, so they could be tacked on as well.
  7. ^Probably the major factor on why Millennium Force hasn't tossed out anybody is CP making sure everyone is secure. Secondary factor is airtime, which Millennium Force isn't exactly known for.
  8. ^I'm pretty sure most TPR members that have been to Japan and ridden most of these "Japan design" coasters would disagree with what that guy says to quite an extent. If I had ever been to Japan, I would go so far to say the opposite, but I like my Arrow's rough
  9. On the subject of Vortex, Kings Island reassured Vortex would not be taken out (for how long, I don't know) to a person commenting on their recent Facebook photo of Vortex reaching it's 40 millionth rider. That person said "When ever I see statistics like that I always think that you're going to close the ride. Don't take out Vortex!" and KI responded "No worries!" Not something major, just reassurance. Also, looks like most GP adore Vortex.
  10. Elitch Gardens, July 2nd. Silverwood in July as well
  11. ^I guess the problems with loading is just a California thing, because nobody seems to have trouble at Aftershock, either.
  12. Personally I think parks should only do a RMC treatment if they have more than 1 wooden coaster, because now SFFT lacks a true woodie and if Medusa gets the treatment then SFM will lack one, too. Good thing SFoT has Judge Roy Scream, even if it isn't the greatest.
  13. I must be weird then, because I consider rough woodies reridable, the only exception being Zeus at Mt. Olympus.
  14. What exactly was wrong with Elf being a little bit bumpy? You made it sound like a bad thing, even though I prefer my wooden coasters bumpy and rough, not smooth, because roughness adds to the "out of control" experience.
  15. Yeah, I feel sorry for Greezed Lightnin' but at least if Twisted Twins gets an RMC treatment, it will make up for the loss of a great Schwarzy...
  16. The main one right now is Gravity Max. You all know why
  17. After I went to Elitches' I know have 2 boomerangs and a G.I.B. SFNE's Boomerang wasn't great, but Elitches' was smooth and quite enjoyable.
  18. I've always wanted a 90* tilt drop tower. Excited
  19. Can anyone send me their Vekoma SLC CT & CTR? I searched and found one but the download link was deleted..
  20. Already Visited: Elitch Gardens!!!! (New for me ) Guaranteed: Silverwood!!!! (Spincycle!!) Possible: Lakeside!!!! (New for me )
  21. My vote would have been Aftershock (GIB) but since it doesn't have a category, what I have left is a Batman (Original!! ) and a SLC ( :/ ..... ). Obvious Choice.
  22. Here's a change from all the previous: As my name states, my favorite coaster is Iron Wolf @ SFGAm (now Apocalypse @ SFA). I loved the standing position, the quick and snappy transitions (especially the corkscrew), the hang time in the loop, the swooping drop and turns, and the fact that the coaster wasn't perfectly smooth, but wasn't painfully rough either. For me, it was an amazing experience.
