  1. Alright thanks for informing me on that. It was just odd looking to me that the train would be stopped there in that position all day.
  2. Hydra the Revenge in the back row around 8:00 on opening day. The rattle seemed worse
  3. I would say any weekday Monday-Thursday. I was at the park today also and Voodoo does look awesome up close! I heard a TON of people in the park talking about the ride, so I expect it to be a hit. A lot of people in this area don't even know what a launch coaster is. Also, I was wondering why the train wasn't in the station. The train was stopped just outside of the station on the launch track. Does anyone know the reason for this?
  4. ^Thank you for those pictures! This ride looks great, I can't wait till I get to go back to the park in August.
  5. ^That is great to hear! I'm really looking forward to riding Dominator on my next visit to KD, it looks like a great ride. I probably won't get back down there for another year or 2 though.
  6. I'm really enjoying this trip report! Every Intamin accelerator coaster has OTSR except Xcellerator and Top Thrill Dragster.
  7. ^Awesome, that's what I wanted to hear! That hill was just screaming ejector airtime to me.
  8. Nice trip report! Raging Bull really looks nice with that fresh coat of paint. I really want to get out to SFGAM one day, it looks like an awesome park!
  9. That's pretty much how I was expecting it to be. The ride will go faster once it's warmer and the ride is broken in though. Just one more question. Did the train go fast over the airtime hill? I'm hoping there is a nice shot of ejector air on it!
  10. ^How did the ride look while going through the course? How was the pacing?
  11. I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but Great Adventure's home page has a count down for when TDK opens. May 15 looks to be the date for TDK!
  12. Great trip report and POV! I have two questions. Was there any B&M rattle that have been present on the newer B&Ms? Also, how was the first drop in the back row?
  13. That is definitely Dive Machine track, unless B&M has come up with a coaster type with wider trains. I still hope this goes to Six Flags Great Adventure.
  14. ^I doubt it would be going to any parks in Dubai just for the fact those parks won't be opening for years. If I had to guess, I would say that is going to Six Flags Great Adventure. There have been rumors that the park is getting a big new coaster and the rumors have been leaning towards a dive machine. Also, they closed off the Old Country park of the park this season, so this could be going there.
  15. ^All coasters are like this in the stage right after the track is finished. Once everything is in place, they permanently cement the footers to the supports. This stage of cementing should take place very soon. Within the next few weeks.
  16. ^^ Thanks for those pictures. The ride will be awesome just by how tight it is. Also, I loved that last picture with the sun on the drop!
  17. ^ I know a lot of coasters have the elevator shaft on the opposite side of the station. I would guess it would make it easier for handicapped to get on the ride because there is less congestion. Some examples are Talon and Steel Force.
  18. That is sort of weird that it didn't say "now get ready, here we go". Was that the last ride before it broke down? Yes I waited it out and I was the first train out in the front. We got on it around 9:05. I give Hershey props for getting the ride running after the park was closed. They could have just told us tough luck.
  19. Yes it did get a paint job. I believe they started it during Hersheypark in the Dark last fall. I remember parts of the ride having new paint on it.
  20. I never even thought of it that way. That would be awesome if they got a drop tower, but I still put my money on a Boardwalk expansion.
  21. ^I might be wrong, but I think those three track pieces are just the transfer track. That is the track the trains are put on when they are not in use. The main track will move to each of these tracks, but only to add or remove a train.
  22. ^I am guessing it was very crowded early on in the day. I arrived around 6:30 and everyone I saw was leaving the park. Storm Runner -2 trains, but went to one around 9pm. Great Bear - 2 trains Sooperdooperlooper- 2 trains Comet- I didn't get to, but I would assume had 2 trains. Trailblazer- I didn't get to either, but I would assume had 2 trains. Sidewinder- 1 train. While I was there everything was 10-15 minutes or less even for front rows. The only exception was Storm Runner, which was about 25 minutes for front row.
  23. Great trip report man! I was there from 6:30-9 and I saw you there a few times. I was wearing a blue sweatshirt, dark grey sweat pants, and I was by myself. I saw you while I was waiting for front row on Great Bear right at 8 and while I was waiting for Storm Runner when it broke down. I waited it out and I was the first train out a little past 9 in the front. It still is my favorite steel coaster. In my opinion Fahrenheit looks like it will be amazing! It really is one of those coasters that looks SO much better in person.
  24. No I did not notice that. I really wasn't looking around I was just trying to get as much coaster ridding in as possible in my limited time frame. If I had to guess, I would say it is definitely a Boardwalk expansion.
  25. Storm Runner! I got to ride the second to last train out for the night in front row. This was after a 20 minute break down, but it was well worth it. We FLEW over the top hat! Awesome ejector airtime!
