  1. When my brother had braces, he had a similar waterpick type attachment for the shower. It was a lot of fun! Too bad I didn't get to have one when I had braces (even though I had them done by the same orthadontist). The bad parts about braces (at least for me, as I had them done in my teens) Getting them tightened - They do it once a month, and it hurts for a day or two after The rubber bands - You need to change them every day and they end up everywhere. Flossing - More of a chore than without braces Talking - Most people have trouble understanding me without braces.
  2. Are there any parks outsite of CA and FL that are open year round? Maybe they're heading for Florida (although this may not be likely since they are coming in March)
  3. I know I'm bringing back an old topic, but I've just recently set my ringtone to the one and only Escalator Ride theme song! If anyone else here has an MP3 capable phone, feel free to download this to your phone. It's not perfect, but it loops nicely escalator.mp3 Do do do do do do do do do doo!
  4. One thing you might want to consider is adding a bot. I'm not sure if the current interface supports it, but some bots can be fun (ie. party bots, with 'food', games, and such), and also provide some sort of order (ie. logging conversations, kicking (and even banning).
  5. Found this site today http://www.auctionbrick.com/mchiles/rollercoaster/ Very cool. It has a working lift hill, transfer track, and even lap bars for the peeps (no OTSRs!!!). The circular loop might give some neck pain, but this is very impressive. If Schwarzkopf played with Lego...
  6. Python was one of my stepping stones towards getting on Kumba. My youngest brother rode it around the age of six (just to get the credit!) and complained it was too short. The ride clocks at about sixty seconds from dispatch to brake. Also, didn't they refurbish the ride and station recently? Still, at least they're considering getting rid of Python rather than Scorpion.
  7. Nice. That was my fifth credit and still a great ride today!
  8. I've got a Roady2 hooked up to my home stereo system. Currently, I'm enjoying the 80's station
  9. This thread is officially up there, along with some pictures from the recent Asia trip.
  10. How is this meant to fit in with the racing theme? Humdinger sounds much cooler.
  11. The DL show is on right now. Time for CASTLE JOKES! But you can't see the castle! This is messed up. You can see the Matterhorn from Main Street
  12. If anyone here gets Travel Channel, there's a few shows on Disney parks tomorrow (Jan 4) at 3pm Eastern time. 3pm: Disneyland Resort: Behind the scenes - Includes Walt Disney's apartment and the eternal lamp. Of course, at WDW, the apartment was going to be in the castle because it's so much bigger 4pm: Disney's Imagineers - Covers Pirates, Splash Mountain, and TOT 5pm: Animal Kingdom - Not sure what this will cover. Maybe some of EE 6pm: Magic Kingdom - Covers WDW's Magic Kingdom. Also has some of EPCOT, MGM, and AK.
  13. Make sure you read the TOS
  14. Windows Movie Maker has a simple still frame image capture. The main problem is that video cameras are not designed to capture still frames, Sample
  15. I just let the Roomba do the vaccuuming. There's no retractable cord though (or any cord, for that matter), and you have to empty it frequently. It is self propelled though AND makes cool sounds!
  16. From Robb and Elissa's trip, Pyrennes closed due to a typhoon, but many of the indoor rides, such as the bullfight coaster and the escalator, remained open.
  17. SheiKra at BGT. Great ride (although a little short), and those comfy B&M seats worked wonders after standing in line for an hour.
  18. You might have some trouble doing that. Cameras, VCR's, and TV's in the US use the NTSC video format, while video equipment in Europe, Australia, and NZ use the PAL video format. If you want to order from the US, check that you can get something that's compatible with your PAL equipment, otherwise order from Europe.

I assume that most people in Japan speak some English (or more likely, Engrish, ie. 'All your base are belong to us'). All the park and ride names look like they are in English.
  20. ^^^ With theming like that, you'd think you're soaring over a REAL parking lot. Sheikra has some impressive theming.

  22. I've heard that HKDL has a "crushable" castle also. Please confirm!
  23. Montu - Front or back Kumba - Front or back Kraken - It's a floorless, so ride the front As for Python, you probably won't get much of a beating from it. It will be over before you know it. I clocked it at 60 seconds from dispatch to final brake.
  24. Maybe a "holiday" theme in this politically correct country. Still, my family is not what you would call 'religious', but we still have Christmas with presents, lights, etc.
  25. Deja Vu, because you can be sure there's a catwalk on the cobra roll for when it valleys. Windjammer or Manhattan Express?
