You can count me in now for helping out with the image gallery. I found my CD, and got Frontpage reinstalled.

I'm thinking that the power supply might not have enough power to power everything. Get a 300 watt as a minimum, 400+ is preferred. Keep in mind that fast video chipsets, fast CPU's, and hard drives will eat up a bit of power.

I will probably shoot it on 16:9, but I will size it so it fits on a standard resolution display, provided that you don't mind seeing the black bars (think of it as being a feature film)

My camcorder is capable of shooting in 16:9 resolution (wide screen). Would it be okay to shoot in this higher resolution, or should I try and shoot in 1.33:1 (full screen)

I haven't eaten at McDonalds in years. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Oh, and Sören, Orlando is home to the "World's Largest McDonalds"

Here's something I thought up. It would sort of be a cross between a coaster and a simulator. The ride vehicle would be on a motion platform that would move in the X, Y, and Z directions (sort of like those cranes that run on tracks mounted on the ceiling of factories, only it can move in all three dimensions)). In addition, the vehicle would also be able to rotate on all three axes. In theory, it would be like a coaster simulator, but instead of just rotating, it would actually move to create "genuine" G-forces. Nearly any ride design could be recreated. Pros - Could re-create any ride possible - Could do maneuvers that are not possible on conventional coasters. - Could be built to any scale, even indoors Cons - People would debate on over whether it counted as a credit, and if so, how many - Capacity would not be very high - Mechanical problems (high G-forces would put stress on the structure). Also there would need to be very powerful motors to allow high speeds. - What happens when the computer controlling the motion base goes haywire and subjects the rider to extreme G-forces? (maybe some sort of emergency stop and accelerometer device) - Cost

I would be interested in helping out, but I no longer have Frontpage on my PC (I can't find the CD). I do, however, have programming experience (ie. take information and dump out HTML files) and Photochopping skills.

I find that Animation Shop (part of Paint Shop Pro) does a good job at creating animated GIF files from movies. Did this for an avator contest sometime back.

I didn't watch much of the TV shows back then, but I remember a lot of the toys. I agree on putting in some sort of easter egg. If not, how about some sort of cheat code (ie. "Donkey" "Intamin")

One of the forums I used to post to had a game like this. Here's the phrase to be guessed. _ _ _ _ _ _ / _ _ _ _ _ (the / indicates a space) Each person guesses one letter. Whoever guesses the entire phrase correctly gets to choose the next phrase to guess. The phrase should be coaster, park, or donkey related.
