Holiday Park Discussion Thread

^Really nice that they have released a testing POV and I have to say that, from this video, the roll doesn't really look much if any faster than superman's. So maybe I was just mistaken. -
^I agree. If there is one type of ride which would be improved by being less forceful it is definitely the stand up coaster. I find the experience really cool but I was stopped from enjoying it more due to my legs starting to hurt a bit, the often head banging doesn't help either. I would really like to see what B&M could do with this one now.

Me too. Still, every time I get back from a trip I think I should have dedicated every single second I had at a park to ride each coaster the most times possible because, even though I get plenty of rides (if I can) when I'm in a park know I could be getting more if I wanted too. It's almost as if you don't really feel the need to ride every coaster over and over again while you're there, but as soon as you leave the park you always think you could have done more. Does anyone else feel the same?

^^Who was the guy responsible for designing that section of track? That was extremely "coat-hangish"! -

^I also assumed that in the very first run they would stop the trains in the launch tracks. Good to know it might happen earlier (well for me it really would be great as I won't have internet access during that week). Hope everything goes smoothly. -

^If they decided it would have three it's probably because they really thing they will be able to run them all, otherwise they would've chosen just two. So I'm guessing it will run all three. -

I just managed to catch a test run and this, once more, gives an idea of the size of the ride. Impresses me every time. -

^Given that each train has five cars, thee should be some ejector air in the back. I can't think of any ride which combines such long trains and such a steep drop, given the height. -
^Never riding a coaster again except for SLCs. What's worse than ridiculously slow ride operators?

^^Nice! It's funny how the car looks nothing like I thought it would look, but very cool. -

Nice to see some progress. Isn't the station supposed to be kind of buried underground? -
Renaming it to "Steel Motherf#&%"=" ! What's better than OTSR ceasing to exist?

Really cool shot. Looks very swooping and sexy! Also like how three rides meet there. How long will it be until someone catches all of those in the same picture? -

Well that gives a rough idea of the sheer size of the drop. And all wheel covers in place!
