You Might Be A Coaster Nerd If....

Haha! Guilty of that one. If when the car you're in hits a small bump in the road and does that "two stage noise" you remember when on some rides the train travels over the place where the transfer track connects to the main one (where there is a gap) and it does a similar sound, and you can also feel it. -

Wow I'm guessing it'll be amazing sitting there in the front row while the rest of the train is checked and looking at that drop and view. Awesome! -

Why Does Everybody Hate on Six Flags?

This. I also like how they're not too expensive (well, at least until you choose to buy a flash pass) I also think that people tend to criticize what they like, so that it will become better. For example, I'm a huge B&M fan and I do criticize them a lot (especially their new rides) because I would like them to be perfect. SF parks may not have outstanding operations and may not care that much about theming but they have great collections of coasters and I do praise them for that. Still, if I (and many of us, I think) do point out some of their more negative aspects it's with the intention of trying to make them see them in order to get better. -

That's kind of funny, but terrible at the same time

I love when you can walk around, under, and get quite close to the ride itself. Makes for great picture angles and builds up the anticipation even more. -

^I totally agree that there needs to be no gimmick but it's also hard to predict how good a coaster will be (I don't know about balder but I wans't expecting skyrush to be anything special when I first heard it was getting build, and I think I'm not the only one). What I was trying to say was that it is rather hard to say that a ride ill be awesome before anyone actually rides it because you can have a ride that will be awesome and a "game changer" in terms of intensity and overall awesomeness which could, when people first hear about it, cause no amazing reactions. So my interpretation of "game changer" was more like something that will blow everyone away when it is announced. -
A very forceful B&M invert. What's better than someone deciding to build a mega lite on my street?

^It's something that changes with time as you can even see that some manufacturers like B&M now use fewer supports, overall, than they did a few years ago (leviathan's lift is the best example). Then Morgan also went for the scaffolding like structure on parts of their rides rather than the tubular supports, which also demands a higher density of beams. -

^And probably the reason why their capacity is one of the highest is precisely the fact that there are no seat belts to check. -

^Is it really confirmed? Because that's a ridiculous thing to do to a B&M hyper. And it could mean they are about to do it to all of them -

^When he said that that the tower will not be used to bring the trains upwards does it mean that the train will not be pulled upwards inside the tower or that it won't go up while inside it? Because the first one would allow for a launch to take place and then the tower would be the place where the train would go up. Still I think that would be unlikely as their other Gerstlauer already has a launch and it would have to go pretty fast to climb 80 meters (something strange using LSMs, which is what gerstlauer uses). Anyway, this is looking very interesting! -
No park existing! What about that one?
