  1. It looks like they could just have no vests at all. Anyway, they look pretty cool and I'm looking forward to knowing how it rides.
  2. I may have only ridden wildcat once but it was the roughest ride ever apart from coaster express at warner (the worst coaster I've ever ridden). It gave me a reasonable headache while riding which made me wish it was over asap. It's a shame as the layout is fairly interesting with plenty of twists and a good pacing. And no, I don't consider myself a pussy as I've ridden plenty of coasters considered pretty rough with no major problems (only this one and coaster express gave me such unpleasant rides)
  3. Yeah I think if it wasn't an Intamin, and if the line wasn't always so long, people would look at it more favorably. Why would anyone rank it lower because it's an intamin? As to great bear, the first bit is great: the pre-drop helix is quite forceful; the drop itself might not be amazing but then most drops on B&M inverts are, in my opinion, nothing special; the loop and immelmann are great fun; the zero g is super fast and I love the turn right after as you get a pop of air in the beginning and then the forces kick in. The problem is the rest as I find the straight section before the corkscrew already too long (it would be fun if it had a heart line roll or something) and then you get that part after the corkscrew..... I guess it would be fine if the ride were fairly long but it isn't and, especially for that reason, it should have a great ending like talon, in my opinion, does. It's still a solid good ride but when you have coasters like storm runner and skyrush....
  4. I find it a bit odd that Fahrenheit is not so popular. Of course it's very tough to compete against skyrush and storm runner but I'd rank it more or less like great bear (after those two coasters). Also, I only rode it in one day but none of my rides were rough or shaky at all.
  5. But is it certain already? It definitely looks amazing
  6. ^Poor boomerang..... I wonder what kind of awful things ShiBaoLai did to it while in their hands...
  7. I was actually just about to say I quite enjoyed it (especially given the mediocre reviews). I found it definitely better than the last stand and while not a great film I thought it was enjoyable.
  8. American Pie - Don McLean
  9. Anubis IS amazing! No rough at all, and the launch is certainly the best I've been on. I like it way better than Furius Baco, Desert Race or iSpeed. It's so awesome because it has a very small course, and you really wonder when you face it how the heck you'll be able to gain enough speed in that short lenght. And somehow you acheive it! And the airtime on the top-hat is incredible. I've never been on it but every time I watch a POV I keep thinking how fast that launch must be! And then the rest of the ride basically looks like a faster dare devil dive
  10. Nice report! The mack really looks interesting. It's a matter of taste, of course, but I really like huge B&M style loops as opposed to the ones that provide a lot of hangtime so I'm happy to hear this one is like that. There is something about being upside down on the top of a tall loop while still with positive Gs that I find really cool as you almost get the feeling that the rest of the world is upside down and not you.
  11. ^Indeed. Looks live a very fun ride (especially for its size)
  12. ^You know, I'm not a big fan of extended hangtime so I wasn't looking forward to the roll that much but it turned out to be pretty fun while still being surprisingly comfortable. I wouldn't mind seeing it on more rides.
  13. Have you ever put your arms up at any point on any roller coaster?? In all seriousness, I'm pretty sure most coasters are designed with the idea of people putting their hands up in mind. I think we are led to believe so but I wonder if we can always trust that 100%. I mean, when I'm entering the tunnel on the bottom of shambhala's drop (for instance) I'm pretty sure I can trust the clearance tests but there are some occasions when I'm just not completely sure.
  14. It's actually my second favorite in the park. It is more exiting than steel force and, in my opinion, provides a more complete ride than the rest. Plus I didn't have any rattle issues
  15. Believe it or not I have seen hydra with a longer line than that ^ and have actually waited something like 40 minutes for talon (while having been to the park only once)
  16. My foot once touched some pine tree needles while riding batman at Warner Madrid. I suppose that things like trees are harder to "control" so I don't know what margin there usually is. I was really stretching my feet and it was a very small scratch so nothing special.
  17. True. That really looked too good to be true.
  18. ^Wow that'd almost be like a top fuel dragster! (apparently they do 0-100 mph in 0,8 seconds or something)
  19. ^It really is impressive how "only" two died so far. It looks extremely violent
  20. ^^Haha what were they thinking when they designed it? I suppose you could have some sort of contest to see who makes it until the end on their raft.
  21. ^Interesting to see how they do it, with those metal plates. God I'd love to experience that someday
  22. Even though I don't doubt this is good advice, you shouldn't have to worry about things like that just like you shouldn't have to adopt certain positions to ride, for instance, an SLC. Naturally it will provide a better ride but ideally every coaster would be smooth in any seat.
  23. Nice. Now I wonder if something will be done to the section of track after the top hat
  24. Saw Muse one Monday and, once again, it was amazing! It was their third concert I'be been to and they never disappoint. They're really good live.
