A little update of the progress of SW7. The concrete base has been lifted and it is ready for the footers to be done. Also, there is DIRT!! Picture taken by roary01 on towerstimes. More pictures of progress(and more dirt) in the following link. http://forum.towerstimes.co.uk/sw7/construction-discussion/300/ -

It's a pity Saw has gotten rough. I remember when it was smoothish. But the last time I rode, it has changed alot. It clicked my neck on the last turn, before the brake run into the station and I had to push my head up so that I could move it. Still, at least its not as bad as colossus. I'm never going on that ride again, unless they modify it. -
B&M vs Intamin
spinning man replied to alpengeistdude321's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
For me, I have to say both. B&M and Intamin are great in what they create, which for me I see equal. B&Ms are smoother and better, but Intamin have some unique ideas something B&M don't do. Well, I mean in things like launch and freefall drops. -
Looking on the wikipedia on divemachines I read at the bottom of the sheikra page, that a documentary film is due to come out on May 21st 2015. Now for me, it will be interesting to see how the final result comes out. But what do you all think of this? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SheiKra Scroll near to the bottom, where the 'in the media' sub heading is.

I think you should be ok on going on monday. I forgot when I went to thorpe park with my school, but I'm certain they do it on wednesdays or thursdays. Also, it is cold here in the UK. But you never know, being england the weather might change to good when you come.

soup of justice! He thought of other ways to use the thunder gun. So he decided to use it against......

As mentioned from a previous post, the thickness of the box section changes depending on the type of forces the track will have to withstand on that section. These changes are on all type of coasters. But the ones where you can see the differences the clearest are on dive machines and on hyper coasters.

At my homepark thorpe park in the UK, Saw-The ride freaked me out and I didn't want to ride it. Just seeing that 100 degree drop just gave me shudders. Eventually my freinds forced me onto it. Funny thing though is that when I was going up the lift hill I just kept on swearing quietly(dear oh dear). And after the drop I was laughing like a madman. I think I was 15 then, 17 now. Great memory.

It has to be The Swarm for me. Though if the LEDs were working, it would have made this picture better. Picture taken by lifthill.net -

These 2 have to be my favourite adverts.

Yes. Though most of them aren't doing well. Have you ever tried a wacky combination of drinks, which came out better than you thought?

I'm not sure how long that thing is. But it looks like the part of the train where the wheels are based, where there is a connection to the other wheels. I pressume this piece would belong to that.
