  1. Hopefully nobody got hurt in that incident. But I hope that Portaventura decides to ask Intamin to make smoother trains to avoid this happening again, IF the roughness was the cause. And also to have more happy riders.
  2. I love the sound this dive machine makes. Especially the part at 0:39. Wonderful sound.
  3. I think that terra mitica needs a high coaster, to be able to make it more appealing to those who aren't so sure in going there when viewing it at a distance. Only the lifthill section though. Anyway, when I went with my father and brother it was really empty, which was something I was surprised about. But the thing that I felt the park should have was a thrilling steel coaster other than the SLC, and a new family coaster. The reason why I think it has been so empty is because maybe the general public has given it bad reviews with it's ride choice (and maybe some issues with the labyrinth of the minotaur). A nice steel coaster should bring in the public. I do feel that a B&M floorless would fit in the area nicely. The park area is very unique and as Sharktums wrote, it would indeed be a shame to lose it.
  4. I had a strange dream that SW7 had been built, and was related to Saw-The ride. But it was built really fast and that the inside of the building was a cobra roll and a big dip. Then for some reason richard hammond was riding it. Not much I remember from it but that is it.
  5. The SW7 site has progressed well indeed, with the hole getting deeper and wider day by day. Unfortunately the hole is flooded abit by the pipe on the side. Hopefully it's not from the toilets near by. Pictures taken by stretchy on the Towersstreet forum. http://www.towersstreet.com/talk/future-discussion/secret-weapon-7-construction-discussion/240/
  6. MEH! Gorilla doesn't approve of billy. But does of tea and mountain dew.
  7. I would say that there is no answer to this. Only that humans are beings. But there are very different people in many different ways, which makes the question you ask seem very difficult to come up with a certain answer. Though there are 2 words I will describe us. Unique and strange.
  8. I have never broken a bone, because I am made of STEEL! But, there was one interesting time where I had a extra bone on my femur near the knee cap. I had a operation to take it out. It wasn't nice when playing sport and sometimes gave me spasms on my leg.
  9. I am surprised how they are allowed to make those things. I thought the patent system would not allow them to make such track or trains, since vekoma own the rights.
  10. If sharktums saw that, I guess she would give it her seal o'approval.
  11. Dear madam title fairy, I ask kindly if you may change my custom title to 'Stuff and nonsense' please. Most appreciated.
  12. When I went to thorpe park last year, I went onto tidal wave with my brother. For some reason there is a space between the restraint thing and the rest of the boat. Anyway, as a joke my brother and me were shoving each other and there were two big people beside my brother, so I was pushed to the edge of the row. When they pulled the restraint down, my knee got stuck between the gap and it was crushing it. In pain, I stood up but I had to sit on the top of the seats due to the position of my leg. Then they had to raise the restraints and they let me sit in well. Everybody was staring at me thinking as to what had happened. Regardless of that, it was a good ride as always.
  13. From my opinion, I would say to go to Gardaland. I'm not sure how much it has changed since I last went, but I do recall seeing a large area for small children and other attractions around the park. It has a nice surrounding to it, and that's another great thing about it.
  14. The site has progressed well, with deep holes appearing around. The station area is the most interesting. Pictures taken by towerstimes: http://www.towerstimes.co.uk/sw7/construction/
  15. This isn't on google maps, but it is something interesting. A 360 degree panoramic views of the swarm. But, if the general public ever see these images they will start saying how dangerous it is, with more than one train on the track. Dear oh dear. http://www.sphericalimages.com/virtual-tours/swarm-thorpe-park-virtual-tour
  16. While queuing for Saw-The ride, I overheard some girls talking about it. Than one of them said that a friend of hers once got stuck at the top when it was tipping over the edge. Come to england guys! Turns out we have the only gravity defying eurofighter in the world!
  17. Granted, but all your belongings will be pinched by pesky people and you will arrive with nothing. I wish I was made of steel!
  18. The industrial scene was the best for me. Great music. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yyOVnYsBCJU
  19. Journey to the stars!? I think they should call it Journey to the hospital. With all that roughness, it will shatter you to bits.
  20. For me, it is between Collosus at Thorpe park and Magnus Collosus at Terra mitica.
  21. Today on The Swarm, a bolt had fallen off either from a track or a support section. But, the swarm is up and running again. Very fast. (I suspect a small section of Rita's cable flew across england and hit this bolt to make it fall off. Intamin are the culprits!) Picture taken by Alex Murphy on twitter.
