  1. I'm not really a fan of rides that go backwards, and seeing those images make me feel abit sick. Hopefully, this ride will not be so rough on stomach and I will enjoy it. But I think they should've changed at least 3 rows backwards instead of 2.
  2. I am going to take a wild guess, and say it could be Thunder Dolphin at Tokyo City Dome Amusement park. It is based in a city area and looks like Millenium force.
  3. I have a feeling that those images are of the real train, only not placed on the track. Maybe Merlin are recording the advert with the real train, like they did with Oblivion's shuttles.
  4. The first thing that came to my mind when I saw those trains, is The Swarm and X-flight mashed together. And it is one funky looking train.
  5. In the back of my head, I dread what would happen if the roppers won the court case. Hopefully sense comes to the judge and he dismisses the whole thing. Anyway, the coaster looks great and it should be very cool to walk in the pit, if the plans are still the same that is, with the public access areas.
  6. Sorry to report, but that video is not related to Alton Towers and so the video is not official. Alton have said so on their Twitter account.
  7. That would be on scorpian at busch gardens. I guess that happened around 2 or 3 years ago. When was the last time you had gravy?
  8. I thought it was confirmed to be premier who were making this coaster. Also, the track is the same style as the mummy ride.
  9. It has been confirmed by Merlin that the dungeons will be moving to County Hall and will reopen on 1st March 2013. A good choice from my opinion. http://www.themeparktourist.com/news/20121116/12280/confirmed-london-dungeon-move-county-hall-site-march-1-2013
  10. Sorry if it's late. Vekoma: Are there any plans to improve some of your old rides for 2013?
  11. This thread need not to go further!! THIS has to be the greatest and funniest advert I have ever seen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LINXRMdbW1E
  12. I haven't ridden this coaster. But the train design and the seats sure do look groovy. It's called Hollywood Dream. Picture by coastersandmore.de. http://www.coastersandmore.de/rides/hollywooddream/hollywooddream.shtml
  13. On my recent trip to Murcia, I decided to go visit the site with my dad and brother. The land is HUGE, though it is really empty. But there have been signs that work has been taking place with some digging taking place on certain places around the land. Below are images which I took. Arriving at the Paramount theme park site. On the road with the flags on either side and the concrete foundation where the ceremony took place. The concrete base area. These are images of the land in the distance. You can't see it clearly here but some digging has taken place. Looking back at the flags from a distance. Well, and now the last image of the site while leaving. Here is some recorded footage I took while I was there. (For some reason the new youtube layout won't allow me to place it up here as it usually does. So you'll have to click on the link.) If anybody wants to go there, the location is beside the 8th exit on MU-602 going towards Alhama de Murcia, or going towards Cartagena if you are going the opposite direction.
  14. No. I don't think you can change it. And also to help you in regards with the spelling, before you post there is a tab (Spell Check) on the top of the box where you type in. Click on that to make sure things are right.
  15. Concrete has begun to be poured on the SW7 site. It is interesting how the rebar cages have been placed. Picture taken from Towersstreet's facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/TowersStreet
  16. Sorry if I may sound silly. But how, or were, paramount's parks when they owned them? Did they sell the parks because of financel difficulties, or am I just pressuming that?
  17. A recent update of the site so far. Very interesting as to how deep they have dug. And especially those girders in the ground. Rumours are spreading that the ride could have a possible underground section, and also that alton towers don't want the public to see much of the track. Very interesting rumours. But are they true. Anyway, here are a collection of pictures. All pictures taken by Stretchy on the Towersstreet forum. More pictures in the link. http://www.towersstreet.com/talk/future-discussion/secret-weapon-7-discussion/900/
  18. The best view on a roller coaster I have been on, has to be the swarm at night. Once you reach the top of the hill, you see the lights of chertsey skattered around the area making it look really great. And since thorpe park isn't near a busy area such as a city, the big space looks great.
  19. Seeing that picture, it does amaze me how much they had to dig for oblivion.
  20. Everytime I go to ride the swarm, it eats up the queue line. This ride is a B&M wingrider to anybody who doesn't know what the swarm is. The longest I have seen the queue become is 1 hour and that's on a busy day. The short layout probably helps out abit.
  21. It appears things will start kicking off soon. A lot more activity on the site. Pictures taken by Rob on the towersstreet forum. http://www.towersstreet.com/talk/future-discussion/secret-weapon-7-construction-discussion/300/
