I rode Kingda Ka during a light rain. It hurt...a lot

Overall - Kingda Ka Wood - El Toro Inverted - Alpengeist

I never rode it before the re-profile. I only greyed out the first time I rode it. The second lap I was fine as I drank some water before hand and kind of prepared for it. What exactly was causing the damage to the trains? The the sheer force or was it something with the shaping/snap? I believe the track put too much friction on the wheels, causing them to basically melt away.

Even with the adjusted turn, I still greyed out The adjusted turn wasn't adjusted for the sake of people blacking out. It was adjusted for the wheels on the trains, mostly.

^Dude. Just stop Anyways, I would love to see a new woodie at BGW. It would be a great park for one....as for Gwazi being relocated, I HIGHLY doubt it.

Loch Ness Monster - Busch Gardens Williamsburg

I enjoy theme parks a ton more than amusement parks. I like parks that have great themeing, landscaping, etc. more than parks that just cram a bunch of rides in a park. I prefer atmosphere over thrills

A few of my favorites are... - Kingda Ka's Launch. Completely blew me away! - El Toro's "Rolling Thunder Hill". Probably the most incredible airtime on a ride ever. - Nitro's helix into the brakes. I could barely keep my hands up because of the intensity! - Rock N' Rollercoaster's Launch. It never gets old. - Intimidator 305's first drop. No words can explain it. - Volcano's launches are pretty incredible. The rest of the ride is just 'meh'. - Hulk's amazing first half.

Cold and rainy here in Richmond. Supposed to warm up into the low-upper 70's this week! Perfect time to go to ride some coasters!

Six Flags posted a picture of Kingda Ka on their Facebook a little earlier today and a person comments.... I HIGHLY doubt you can see Canada from New Jersey. Just sayin'

Busch Gardens Williamsburg on Monday!!

So, I'm going to BGW on Monday (April 1st) and I know that it is the beginning of Spring Break, and I was just wondering how long lines should be and what I should hit first. Any other tips would be appreciated! I haven't been to BGW since '07 and I barely remember a lot from that visit.

Aha! I see it now! Looks good. I'm glad that they are making great progress for the area. Only less than 4 weeks until opening!

I really like Taxi Jam/Great Pumpkin Coaster's new paint! Can't wait to see if Ghoster Coaster/Woodstock Express will get new paint as well!

Even though I don't watch a lot of TV...I really enjoy watching The Walking Dead on AMC.

I currently play Alto Saxophone, Clarinet and Keyboard. I'm decent with all three I guess...

I LOVE SFGAdv's Skyline. So many awesome looking coasters!

I think it was I-305 at Kings Dominion....but I'm not too sure.

I had a dream that I rode Kingda Ka in Hurricane Sandy.... Talk about a windy ride

I want to say I-305, although El Toro's lift hauled butt as well.

Best- El Toro's final drop and twists are really fun especially when you're going that fast. Intimidator 305- That final twisty is pretty intense. Nitro- All of those airtime hills Worst- Hulk- The ride starts off as one of the most unique B&M's out there, but then the second half is just your typical B&M coaster.... Volcano- An 80 foot drop into brakes. Kind of a sudden ending if you ask me. Anaconda- Two SLOW corkscrews into a slow turn and into the brakes is very dreadful.

I've only ridden Bizarro and Dominator (I don't get out much ) and out of those two I would choose Bizarro because it has every element that a good floorless should have

Pretty sure it was Apollo's Chariot at BGW back in 2007. I've been hooked to B&Ms since then.

Anaconda at Kings Dominion for me! OUCH! Haven't been on it since 2008.

Kingda Ka ROCKS! It's launch is insane, and it was one of the only times that I had actually screamed like a girl on a coaster before.
