I'm excited for my trip to Dollywood in April. I'm really looking forward to riding my first GCI and trying out everything else that the park has to offer. I'm also looking forward to going to Kings Dominion multiple times during the summer as well

Yes there are seatbelts, not entirely too sure how accommodating they are for larger set people though.

It would be neat to see Volcano with new trains with four seats across on each row. I wonder if that could be one of the enhancements. It would sure help the capacity issues a lot.

I honestly don't think that KD would make this announcement for the "reopening" of I-305. We'll see I guess...

Even though Nitro and Apollo's Chariot are excellent rides...I don't see how they could've made it several places ahead of I-305. Whatever

Well this looks like an AWESOME addition for SFGAdv. I've always been a fan of Intamin Drop Towers and I hope I will make it up to New Jersey next summer to ride it!

My all time favorite is El Toro, for obvious reasons, and my #1 steel coaster is a tie between Kingda Ka and Intimidator 305.

Dunno if this was mentioned before, but I saw it posted on Facebook and thought it was interesting... Could it be possible that SFGAdv is redoing Kingda Ka's top hat and turning it into an inverted top hat? This would give Kingda Ka the highest inversion on a roller coaster in the world record, and GAdv already stated that the new addition would be record breaking. I'm all in for a "Giga-Drop", but this sounds like it could be a possibility as well.

Most definitely El Toro for me. That first drop is insane!

Judging from this street view image on Google Maps, it doesn't look like there would/could be room for a loading area for a drop tower in between the hydraulics room and the face of the tower.

Except Kingda Ka's support structure isn't just straight up and down. It curves, making it pretty much mandatory to add a decent amount of supports to the structure. Edit: ^Beat me to it. Why would they just build it on the front face instead? If I'm not mistaken, the hydraulics room for Kingda Ka is at the base of the tower in that area.

Kings Dominion is my "home" park..and it isn't my favorite. My favorite is Islands of Adventure with Busch Gardens Williamsburg being a very close second.

School starts in less than two weeks and I have no plans to visit any parks for the rest of the year. UGH!

I can't remember if this was mentioned before or not, but does anybody know why I-305's top speed of 94 MPH went down to 90 MPH since it's opening even without the trims?

You're one of the few people that I have heard say that you didn't enjoy the Batman clones. So I would actually disagree with you saying that most people wouldn't want Banshee to be like Batman. I rode B:TR at SFGAdv last month and I would love to see another B&M have forces like the Batman clones do.
