The only part on Dominator that I felt vibration at was during the first corkscrew, other than that, it was your typical B&M smoothness

^They were VERY light on Monday for Spring Break week. I would expect medium sized lines (Depending whether they are running 1 or 2+ trains). Once you get to the park, run straight to Volcano, the lines for it on Monday were about 1 hour long.

So Backlot decided to valley again today. Not very good news for the ride..

^On my visit (Monday) they were only filling up half of the carriage on WindSeeker, the other half was reserved for Fast Lane users. It just ticked me off a little that they wouldn't fill up the carriage completely, unless there were people in the Fast Lane queue.

Wow Kings Dominion's Facebook is being filled with a lot of hate . The only hateful thing that I have to say is that the Fast Lane was a horrible idea for WindSeeker.

Does anyone have any idea why Drop Tower was closed yesterday? I saw it testing in the morning, and then again towards closing. But it never opened. And I don't think it was the wind because WindSeeker was still running all day long. This would be one of the best things Kings Dominion would have to offer to be a clean family friendly park. The Kidzville rides that are there now are getting really trashy and dated, so this would make sense.

Went to Kings Dominion today. WindSeeker is a GREAT ride! The wind speed up at the top of the tower is really heavy, which causes you to swing back and forth which is pretty scary. And a lot of rides were down. Volcano was until about 2:00, and Drop tower and Backlot never opened. And I was "okay" with the Fast Lane.. But, it being put on WindSeeker was a HORRIBLE idea in my opinion. It causes the regular line to stretch out all the way to Skyflyers loading station. And I think they have reserved seats for the Fast Lane users, so only half of the carriage was being filled which ticked all of us in line off. Oh and I got to see the famous Clint Novak of KDFansite while in line for WindSeeker

I really hope this Fast Lane thing does horrible like the last one 10 years ago, so it will be shut down..

Is the queue still right next to the Go-karts? I always hate walking past them while getting on Grizzly.

So I am going to Kings Dominion tomorrow. I am kind of afraid of the crowds . Any advice on beating the them?

Well, that is some pretty good news. I wish it was still in the US but still, at least it isn't going to be scrapped to make soda cans.

I just noticed by looking at Kings Dominion from that image, that they might barely be able to build a Strata Coaster or Intamin Hydraulic Launcher if they tore Hurler down. The station would be back where Hurlers 2nd turn is (back by Grizzly) and the Top Hat could be about 30 yards away from Lil' Barefoot Beach. Just an observation I made that will probably never happen

Does anyone see Six Flags Mexico as a possibility? They seem like they are in a good need of a new coaster, and the track looks very Green Lantern/Riddler to me, and if it was it would likely go to a Six Flags Park or Warner Bros. Park.

No. Virginia.. And then I thought more and remembered that Green Lantern has the same exact colored track

I know they just got a relocated coaster last year, but has anyone thought of Six Flags Great Adventure? I think I spotted a rumor somewhere deep into the internet that there was a possibility for them to get a new coaster.

And that week all Elementary-High Schoolers have Spring Break so I don't think I would expect walk-ons

I am planning on going to Kings Dominion on the week of April 8th. Does anyone know what the crowds will be like?
