WOW!!!! I should start looking for a reason to go to Germany this year- as Alpina and Olympia in the same place... DROOL! Very nice photos of the setup of the Toys- and the Beer!

OK: Here's how it works: The earlier you post your track to the Exchange, the better the points value you will get. We use a system multipliers that increases your score the earlier you post. It's why the scores are tabulated by a system. It is also why you can score five stars, with eight votes (For example) two days before the challenge ends and have somebody with a lower star rating and fewer votes win. We had to find a way to ensure that everybody was having a fair shot- so the system had to be changed due to fraudulent voting. This way is pretty much fool proof. It's another reason we promote two weeks worth of Tracks- so you can be ready for the next challenge. SO: 1.) You get a bonus for the earlier you enter your track. 2.) Promote your track to increase the number of votes you get. It's that simple.

MORE! MORE! MORE!!!! MORE!!!!!! This is one of the most detail-oriented posts I've seen in a long time- and i'm looking foward to seeing the rest of it! -
I'll start the speculations now: The Powers that Be have granted me the best single wish I could ever have: Intamin is building a new single- loop coaster with a giant 92x144 vertical loop element... and uses the terrain behind Termocalypse etc. for... (wait for it) SON OF REVOLUTION! (Alternate name: Schwarzkopf's Revenge.)

Congratulations goes to CoasterRollin with his winning track: Little Leaper! Please send me your address, and your shirt size, so you can recieve your TPR shirt! Now what are you waiting for? B&M Twisters in RCT II don't build themselves! A few reminders: Voting gets you more points. More points= bigger scores. Bigger Scores= Track of the week WINS. So, now I hear "Well, how do I get people to vote?" Well, that's easy: 1.) Post your track in this thread- with a link to the exchange. 2.) Post a link FROM the Exchange to your facebook page- and have your friends vote on it. 3.) Promote it via a link in Twitter to your track in the exchange. It's that simple.

I, too will be taking one for the team for Mindbender, as it's such an awful ride, that I don't want any of my beloved friends injuring themselves on it. There is no need for everyone else to partake in such a terrible, awful experience. Please, ALlow me to be the designated pain-bearere for the group. In the front seat.

Noted- Before the final vote tabulations are agreed to, whichever games forum MOD is tabulating takes a look at the 'voting' via a magical method invovling a oujia board, consultation with Bill Gates and other mystical things... If we see ANYBODY intentionally voting down a track- especially if they submit a track themselves- not only are they disqualified, but they are permanently banned. R.D.

The general rule is upload as many as you'd like- but remember, in order to score well, you must have people VOTE on them, thus why you don't want to dillute your chances along that way. Example: If I uploaded two B&M twister tracks, and one sucked, chances are, people will pass them over and go onto the next one. BOOM: you've just lost your voting chances. Ways to get a 'win' in the Track of the Week contest: 1.) Post your track to your Facebook account (Simply copy the link into your 'status' window) and write a message like "Vote for my Track in the Games Exchange." 2.) POST THE TRACK EARLY! We do use a scoring system here, and the earlier you upload, the better the odds are that you will get a higher score: The higher the score, the better the chance of a "WIN" 3.) Don't be afraid to post something smaller or less detailed. Any time you upload, it increases your points total, and it gives you experience. 4.) Post your track's link to the exchange in the Track of the Week thread- Bingo. More people will see it. For the time being, I'll be uploading my own 'non-entries' to the exchange as well, to sort of show what I do with my rides. If I can post mine, you should post yours. Good luck- "Junior Woodie" ends in 36 hours, and then we start "RCT II: B&M Twister- NON LAUNCHED LIFT!" R.D.

Randal, Like all the other models in this collection, this one is YUMMY all over. Another excellent job, and a wonderful example of the finest non-kit coasters out there. BTW: Have you considered adding a shot-by-shot 'photo TR' of how you build one of these coasters? I.E a new thread called "How Randal builds his Model RCs"?" HINT HINT HINT... R.D.

Official RCT/RCT2 Help Thread
QueerRudie replied to Stoksy's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
OK: Depending on what operating system you are using, and your type of config, you will most likely find your pics here: A screenshot off of my own computer. Mind you, I'm running Windows 7, this may be different depending on your operating system and computer configuration. Other than that, I'd search for screenshots using this: SCR1.BMP in the "Search Function" for Windows: It should locate at least one of your pictures from that point on; note WHERE it found the picture once you do locate it. Check in your Infogrames Interactive file (Where your RCT II is stored) as usually that's where they end up automatically. Example: C:\programfiles\infogramesinteractive\Rollercoastertycoon2 R.D. -
I'm glad to see SFA is rehabbing Iron Wolf; Although I had no issues with it on my last trip to it (08), I think that the rehab will really make it shine again. Let's hope that SFA doesn't botch it, though- With the right effort, this could be the coaster the park has been looking for- in whatever format/name it comes out as.

EPIC WIN! TOTALLY AGREE! BRING BACK TIDAL WAVE! He was kidding. Tidal Wave, while fun enough at the time, had little ridership when it left. It was always a walk-on. V2 blows it away, though TW had the loop and was a Schwarzkopf. I was??? (I'm one of those weird, Obsessive, hard-core, go out of my way to ride it, Schwarzkopf fans. You know, one of the nutjobs.)

Alton Towers Discussion Thread
QueerRudie replied to Ed's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think that's kind of the point... Very true, but please Alton Towers, do something interesting with the campaign instead of building up what appears to be a mega-terror machine, and instead it leads up to an excellent family coaster... (Hint to Alton Towers- Look at what HP did... )
