  1. I was at Movieworld on Friday, and my friends were watching Lethal Weapon (a particularly "lethal" SLC) saying how it looks so fun, while I told them that it actually isnt. Some idiot teenage girl overheard me and told me that I'm stupid and that its the best ride "in da world". I told her it sucks as it hurts like hell, and she said that I'm a wimp and that its not painful. Bitch, I wasnt talking to you. Go away.
  2. No option under 12? I was 2 when I rode my first coaster, Barnstormer at Magic Kingdom. Scared the absolute shizz out of me. Didn't ride another coaster till I was 6 on a trip to Australia, went on the wooden wild mouse at Aussie World. Bad idea. That thing put me off coasters till I was 10 when I rode Spingear at Sega Republic in Dubai, when I finally got over my fear. So you could call Spingear my first coaster that didnt leave me scarred for years. I am now 12 years old. I fully got into coasters when I moved to Australia a year ago, which sucks as now that I'm here I only have limited coasters to ride, while when I was younger I travelled to New Jersey, Florida, LA, Toronto and many other places with awesome coasters, but I wasnt interested back then. Luckily this year I'll be travelling to UK and maybe Florida and I'm planning to ride as many coasters as possible.
  3. Though I may be wrong, and it hasnt happened yet, I can see B&M Standups being removed over time. Not many were built, and they're falling from popularity. They're also the only type of B&M that have been called painfully uncomfortable. Six Flags is shuffling them around, and Floorless coasters are definitely taking the spotlight in the world of giant B&M loopers. Just my opinion.
  4. Your friend is painfully brain dead stupid. I suggest you remove their existence before they infect anyone else with their chronic idiocy. Its very infectious, all it takes is a gullible counterpart and an exaggerated story... My friend is pretty bad too though. In the queue for Scooby Doo Spooky Coaster (enclosed MACK wild mouse here in Aus) he argued that the car jumps off the track and wouldn't listen to the ride op when they told him that it doesn't. He's still convinced it does.
  5. Aircoaster is all I can think of. Though its a tricky game, and the only good coasters Ive seen built well on there are woodies.
  6. Its... erm... interesting I like Lady Gagas music but I'm not into the whole "mother monster" thing and stuff, but each to their own; its a good looking park though!
  7. ^ The cake is a lie < Trying to cover my own pathetic life v Is a happy weed smoking hippy.
  8. What about the classics: "what's this ride called?" "where is this?" READ THE TITLE "how tall is this how fast does it go?" theres this thing called google.
  9. Lethal Weapon at Movieworld. So basically every SLC. Last time I rode it was so rough that I didn't enjoy it whatsoever.
  10. Superman is very very fun. The pre launch section is awesome and the acceleration is breathtaking. You also get some good airtime, and the back seat is quite intense so much so that I greyed out on my last ride for a couple of seconds on the first turn into the camelback. And no, it's not the only one I've been on. I've also been on Rita and Stealth. Also, the superman in the poll is the one at Movieworld, not SFMM. The one at Magic Mountain isn't even an accelerator.
  11. Yeah its not really a GP comment, but I found it funny anyway.
  12. Comment on a photo on Thorpe Park's FB page: CANT WAIT IM GOING ON THE 2TH Made me giggle.
  13. Nothing What's worse than Justin Bieber being the last singer alive?
  14. Can't stand those people. If you're gunna live near a theme park, be prepared to see a freaking roller coaster! If it weren't for those [insert a million swearwords here] neighbours Alton Towers would probably have a hyper coaster by now! Then again, if it werent for the strict height requirements, Nemesis would probably have been built as a normal invert. Still would've been fun, but I doubt it would've had all the trenches.
  15. I hope they manage to keep Thunder Dolphin. Sure, its not one of the best Intamin hypers, but it looks amazing in the city of Tokyo. Is Thunder Dolphin still operating?
  16. If you refuse to go to NJ in Winter, because the thought of being so close to El Toro and not being able to ride would kill me.
  17. On TPR's Green Lantern SFGADv video: I'm tired of seeing the same roller coaster over and over and over again This literally has the same layout as the riddler's revenge, scream, bazaaro, and every other bnm roller coasters. Other than the tiniest differences they're all the same. When are roller coaster companies going to hire some original artists to start building more original roller coasters? Nope, better play it safe and copy another park. Stupid stupid stupid. Am I the only one who find this comment really dumb? Especially because Green Lanterns layout is nothing like Screams and Bizarros. It has no zero G, it has no Cobra roll, it has an inclined loop?
  18. Doing the Asian thing and naming every Stand Up Coaster "Stand Up Coaster" and every looping coaster "Loop Coaster" ect What's worse than Knotts planning an awesome Intamin giga coaster and then changing their mind half way through construction and demolishing it?
  19. Can't wait for next update!
  20. I'm looking forward to watching the movie 2012 on the 22nd.
  21. Wait, Nostrodamus predicted 2012 as well? I thought it was just the Mayans (which, technically, never said the world would end).
  22. People who try to get on a ride at the end of the day when its CLOSED AND ON ITS LAST RIDE. Me and my friend got the last ride on the Batwing Spaceshot at Movieworld before the park closed, and after they let us in they closed the queue line. Anyway, as soon as we get on the ride, a woman with her kids comes up and tries to get in the queue. When the ride op politely tells her that the ride is closed, she starts swearing at him for a full 5 minutes telling him to just let them on and that its not fair that those other [expletive] kids get to ride. She left muttering that she'll speak to the manager and get the ride op fired for this Also, I went to Dreamworld with 3 of my friends. Me and 2 friends went on the Tower of Terror while the other was too scared, so he waited for us. The line was an hour long, and when we got off the ride he started getting all angry at us for going on it and taking so long. I'm sorry, if you're too scared to go on a ride, we still have the right to go on the ride if we want to. He also started complaining he was bored. Listen, I drove you 2 hours to this park so STFU. I have no problem with a stranger trying to be friendly and starting a short convo. It'd be rude to ignore them, and its better than standing by yourself in silence for an hour waiting for a ride. And if someone asks if a ride's scary, I dont see the problem in that. You should be having fun, not getting pissed at people for asking something that may be a bit stupid. As long as theyre no being rude its fine IMO.
  23. I'm pretty sure in an application they submitted they stated that it would feature the same noise as Saw The Ride as this coaster will be made my the same manufacturer. But yes I'm VERY excited about this! Unfortunately, I'm going to UK this year and not next year, so I won't get to ride it but I may see construction. Looks absolutely amazing and I'm extremely excited about this!
