Most. OverRated. Ride. of 2012.

DiVertical at Mirabilandia. Its just a big flume ride with a bland coaster section. Also, I think skyrush will be great. I dont know why people are dissing it. Other than maybe ROS at Darien Lake and SFA, I havent seen one Intamin Hyper/Junior Hyper/Giga that hasnt been great. What makes Skyrush less fantastic than, say, Bizarro, I305 and Expedition Geforce? -
^ likes donkeys < loves donkeys v is a donkey

Well it is a PHSYCOLOGICAL THRILL RIDE I hear Intamin family coasters with a random drop halfway through are pretty intense and can leave some permanent mental scarring. -
New york, closer to SFGadv then Have sex ON your favourite coaster, or have sex WITH your favourite coaster?

You Might Be A Coaster Nerd If....
australianalex replied to PCW_Nut's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You might be a coaster nerd if your internet is extremely slow because you've been watching WAYYY too many Coaster POV's on youtube. Sad thing is, as soon as it speeds up again thats the first thing Im gunna do. -
^ Has never had sex with a donkey < Always has sex with donkeys v Wants to have sex with a donkey

SFNE as Id be able to come back the next day and ride Bizarro Would you rather every steel coaster in the world be sold as scrap, or every wooden coaster in the world be burned down?
-
Kiddy credit. Would you rather ride a dodgy chinese fairground zipper or a rusty old SLC over and over again for an hour?

I still have extremely low expectations from this ride, but I guess thats a good thing as Ill be blown away if Im proved wrong -
Turns out Movieworld got their initial measurements wrong and Green Lantern is in fact NOT the steepest in the world. Its drop is actually 120 degrees, not 122. Great job Movieworld, make an ad and everything saying its the steepest in the world then take it back Though technically, it has the steepest first drop of any coaster in the world (if you dont count the predrop) as Takabisha does a lot of stuff before going up the hill.

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100626162632AA2El8X WTF at the question and the "best answer". Question: How bad is the negative g-force at six flags? The WTF part of the Best Answer: Well, it says an example of negative G-Force is an inverted roller coaster. This means that the roller coaster track is overhead of the roller coaster train. A ride at a lot of Six Flags parks is Batman the Ride which is inverted. Other inverted rides at Six Flags parks are Mind Eraser at Six Flags America and Six Flags New England, Kong at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom. *FACEPALM* Hey have you guys felt that airtime on Batman the Ride? Intense man. -

I hope this is sacasm? Otherwise its not kennywood's fault you're a complete wuss. I get being scared of spiders but not visiting a park because of a spider in one of the ride's logo is just stupid. -
I waited 45 mins for tower of terror in Australia. Now thats not too long to wait, but the thing was there werent that many people in line, and the actual ride is very quick, yet they take about 5 minutes to do one ride. They double check the harnesses then just sit in the operators booth texting or whatever before actually launching.

Mirabilandia Discussion Thread
australianalex replied to momo1tx's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
No it would really not be. This parks need a big family thrill ride, and that's what they are getting. I'm also positive that the worlds biggest water coaster will bring more guests than Italy's biggest coaster. Okay Ill admit a hypercoaster would make the majority of rides too intense, however this water coaster is still very tall and fairly fast, so Im not entirely sure it'd be classified as a family ride.
