  1. If you go on ANY video of ANY hyper/giga coaster you'll see plenty of those comments. It makes me cry.
  2. I've seen an overwhelming number of GP on videos of Phantom's Revenge complain about how the ride was better with the inversions and that Kennywood are stupid for removing them. It seems that the rule "inversions=OMFGamazing" no matter how painful the inversions may be.
  3. Lethal Weapon's new trains were designed by KumbaK and definitely deliver a better ride due to no OTSR's. I think the new Vekoma trains seen on the Great Nor'Easter look good as well. I think Vekoma have received a bad reputation for their older looping coasters/SLC's. I hear their Booster Bike coasters and wooden coasters are actually quite smooth and fun! The new trains Vekoma are starting to put on their looping coasters and boomerangs look really good, and I'm sure are a huge improvement. It seems Vekoma are finally realizing that a rider comfort is actually important when making a coaster...
  4. I'd love to speak to the two people who have travelled in time to ride Iron Shark...
  5. Great TR! Its no surprise Skyrush is one of the top steel coasters in the world, I wonder how it'll do in the next poll?
  6. If you look at the rock walls around the Wonder Wheel you can see they're custom.
  7. Even though we knew the new Spring attraction was going to be a dark ride, I'm pleasantly surprised! This is exactly what Movieworld, as well as any studio park needs - a good dark ride, and Movieworld has been needing a new family ride for a while. I'm sure this will quieten the people complaining about the lame Batman simulator being taken out.
  8. That... doesn't even make sense? The GP confuse me, honestly.
  9. Looks fantastic, how does it compare to the likes of Bizarro and Expedition Geforce?
  10. Again, Movieworld have posted a very GPish post for random rollercoaster of the week. This time it was Thunder Dolphin. I was surprised that they included the manufacturer by saying "Thunder Dolphin Intamin Hyper Roller Coaster" until I realised that that's the title of the video. Does the person who makes these facebook posts honestly think the name of the ride is "Thunder Dolphin Intamin Hyper Roller Coaster"?
  11. Wow, Goliath really does look out of place. Great TR.
  12. Out of those 3 manufacturers, I've only been on coasters by Intamin (5 of them to be precise, all in Australia surprise, surprise). By far my least favourite is Mick Doohan's motocoaster at Dreamworld. It crushes your thighs and has a really boring layout IMO. Jet Rescue at Seaworld is a million times better.
  13. I'd laugh if the wooden coaster was made by RCCA. Actually no, I'd cry with pain. I wonder if it'll be a Gravity Group coaster, considering China's been getting a bunch of those (though they're all in the Happy Valley parks I know). I guess we can pretty much guarantee it'll be either an Intamin or a GG.
  14. I think the POV is fine, at least it's not handheld. And sure the ride is a bit short, but it'll make up for it with airtime. And you could expect it to be a bit short considering how Hersheypark didn't have a load of space to work with. I'm astounded that they've managed to fit a hypercoaster at all!
  15. Comment on a flickr picture of The Ultimate at Lightwater Valley: The account name was "OMG I STILL MISS THEM" Uh...
  16. I had a dream that I was at Movieworld and that they had a Batman clone that I previously somehow didn't know about. For some reason the ride ops didn't push the ride out hard enough (in the land of dreams B&M's are human operated) and the carriage split or something. So, yeah...
  17. I like the "teen action novels" by Anthony Horowitz/Charlie Higson/Robert Muchamore. So pretty much the same stuff as every other boy my age. I'm getting interested in the Tomorrow series after we had to read and write an essay about Tomorrow When the War Began.
  18. Sorry this is a kinda old post, but I thought I'd point out that "Ranga" is Australian slang for a redhaired person. 9/10 How do you get a gumball angry?
  19. Ocean Park, Hong Kong in 3 weeks It'll be a stopover on the way to the UK, where I'll be visiting Thorpe Park, Chessington, Oakwood, Drayton Manor, Alton Towers and Pleasure Beach Blackpool.
  20. Post by the official Warner Bros Movie World page. Not sure what irks me so much about the post, maybe the fact they called X2 "the X2". And the way they're describing it, it's like they're saying the seats didn't spin before the transformation to X2? I'm just nit-picking, aren't I?
  21. Cool, thanks Robb.
  22. Finding out your twin ate you. What's worse than a maximum legal G force restriction of 3G being put in place by the American government?
  23. ^ 8/10 I want a bmag. Whatever a bmag is. (Getting ready for a 1/10 for my uncreative name lol)
  24. On the "Best and Lamest Coaster Endings Thread", talking about the lamest ending:
  25. For some reason the link to the Park Index seems to be broken? When I try to access it it comes up with a pop up saying "Invalid link" or something like that.
