  1. Got two more "pleasants" to add to this: Disaster Transport: I've never heard a good review of this thing. When I rode it for the frist (and last) time a few years ago, I was treated to a blazing fast bobsled that had just the right amount of "fun intensity". Manta at SWSD: Never heard any real raves about this ride. I followed the construction very closely, and was admittedly excited to ride, but I never saw it on any top tens or even among the best new rides of 2012. I thought it was near perfect and one of the best all-around coasters ever. It's enjoyable to pretty much anyone, and delivers a great ride in every seat. And an "unpleasant": Jouney to Atlantis at SWSD: My sisters rode this long before I did on a girl scouting trip, and I recall them saying it was a really fun coaster. All three of us rode it again last summer and ended up hating it for its bumpy coaster section, terrible restraint system, completely non-sequitur "plot line", terrible audio, loud trains, disappointing conclusion, and horrible capacity. The only fun part about this ride was the first splashdown, and not much else.
  2. Holy balls, this is creeping me out. This actually may end up being Alton's finest work of advertising yet. ...I mean roller coaster.
  3. Just give it time; I'm pretty sure that within months every Six Flags park will have had their Batman coasters "remodled", given a new name, and claimed to be a new coaster. In unrelated-to-SF-news, I'm actually a bit excited to see that B&Ms are getting on this bandwagen. Which ones do you think will work?
  4. Pretty much any S&S Screamin' Squirrel. What's worse than a zombie apocalypse?
  5. Great trip update with (finally) some decent pictures of that glorious S&S. I'm glad to see that Bullet doesn't disappoint.
  6. Being stuck in a room with a 15 year old My Little Pony fanboy. What's worse than itchy sweaters?
  7. Also, one more question. If SF purchased one park and one park only, which one would you want it to be and why? I may get a bit of hate for this one, but SW San Antonio might be a good canidate. They could link it up with Six Flags Fiesta Texas and make a bit of a spinoff park of it. I mean, it wouldn't be all that terrible; I actually think they could do a good job of maintaining SW's reputation. I said "could", not "would".
  8. Piss. I really hope this doesn't happen. Could you imagine the horrors if Six Flags got a hold of a ride like Darkastle? The terror would flow into the streets, obliterating everything in its path. However, I'm still curious to know where the hell all of this money came from. Did they just pull it out of their ass, or is SF actually doing well this season?
  9. "She turned me into a duck! ... I got better."
  10. Doctor Who, Monk, Gravity Falls, Bob's Burgers. I love all of them for the humor exclusively.
  11. I picked up a copy of Bioshock 1 and Burnout Paradise for PS3. After the updates, I have decided that the update department in EA is entirely composed of incopetent twats who don't know how to make a game enjoyable without downloading DLC. I f***ing love Bioshock, though. Probably among the best FPS games out there, next to HL2, H:CE and Portal.
  12. This is brilliance. I'd like to see it with a launch and a rollover instead of a lift hill, though. Then that means we can name it after a superhero and make an exact copy of it and stick one in all of the SF parks on this plane of existence!
  13. Best: The Dodgems at Cedar Point. I was about 11 the first time I rode these and remember them being amazing. Worst: The ones at DCA that I forgot the name of. They can barely get moving, let alone bump others. The mostly just graze eachother. Pretty boring.
  14. Man, why can't more high-budget amusement parks look that good? I love that park though. Great shots this round.
