  1. Thanks for posting that. I'm so glad I got my Rolling Thunder credit this year. I had a feeling its days were numbered.
  2. If it's really 415, then I believe it ties Lex Luthor. Wouldn't be that bad of an idea on Six Flags part. How nice would it be able to market that you've got the world's tallest drop ride in two different parks? Lex Luthor is marketed as 400' tall. Also, from this image, you can tell that Lex Luthor does not go up to the top of the 415' tower. So, if Zumanjaro is 415' tall, it will be the tallest drop tower in the world, even taller than Lex Luthor.
  3. It's nice to see the kids area getting some attention. Hopefully, the family coaster will fill the gap in between Road Runner Express and Gold Rusher in terms of intensity.
  4. Welp, there goes SFMM's short lived record. At least the 3 tracks will create a better capacity.
  5. Justin, I'm on vacation for 3 weeks in Hawaii. Expect an update soon.
  6. ^If you want someone that can endure Revolution ERT, I can do it. Somehow, I know how to stop all headbanging on it and have a decent ride on it.
  7. ^Green Lantern smashes my head into goo. Seriously, I never have been on a more painful ride.
  8. Yes, Yes, and Yes. However, as much as I hate to admit it, I think GhostRider is now the worst wooden coaster in CA. Grizzly was nearly as smooth as Gold Striker when I was at CGA a couple weekends ago. I like GhostRider a lot more than Grizzly because GhostRider is more exciting, even though it is very rough.
  9. Best Steel: Xcelerator Worst Steel: Green Lantern Best Wood: Gold Striker Worst Wood: Grizzly
  10. The best food at SFMM is the Wendy's down the street.
  11. This might have been asked before, though what are you going to do with the model when you are finished? I'd really like to see this in a museum.
  12. Runaway Reptar at CGA. Glad I started with an Intamin.
  13. Since Fright Fest is currently the subject, I might as well put this out. I'm planning to go to SFMM on the first weekend of Fright Fest (Oct. 5/6) to ride Colossus backwards and I'm wondering how busy it will be. SFMM is my home park, so I'm not going to do a credit run, I just never have been to SFMM during Fright Fest.
  14. I paid for my WCB tickets for Knott's. I can't wait to go to my first TPR event. (On a side note, my e-mail saids that I still need to pay for my tickets at store@themeparkreview.com with PayPal and with my order # in the comments, though I already paid for the tickets with PayPal with trips@themeparkreview.com and it is a confirmed order. I'm hoping this is nothing wrong.)
  15. I really wonder how true that annual maintenance sign is. For Full Throttle, it most likely is true, though I've been to SFMM where they put up an annual maintenance sign up on coasters that had two train operation the day before.
  16. The western part of the Saddle Road on the Big Island in Hawaii is still a curvy road that provides a good amount of airtime and laterals if you drive at a good amount of speed.
  17. Who knows what 2015 will bring to SWSD. My guess is an aquatrax.
  18. That video, especially the comments, are comedy gold. Also, I added a "Nina Kleppe likes this" comment.
  19. Thank goodness that it has lap bars. Hopefully, I'll get the credit in a few years.
  20. I think you did a really good job at making a believable layout of this coaster type. Honestly, I never knew this RCT2 coaster type was based off a real coaster.
  21. Nice photo trip report. Demon's wait time has been very unstable this season. Some days, it's a walk-on and some days, it's a long wait. It's too bad Demon starting running really bad half-way through the summer as it was running very well earlier in the season.
  22. Looks amazing, as usual. The Coasters Drive-In recreation looks just like the real ones.
  23. This park is looking good. Also, that hyper would look nicer if it did not have Expedition Ge-Force decals on it.
  24. Posted onto Screamscape: ^If those are coaster supports, it might be for Adventure City's new coaster.
  25. Assuming you were including the impulse coasters, it would have to be over 215 feet, have at least 5 inversions, and be faster than 70 mph. Montu has 7 inversions, so if this is the most inverting inverted coaster, it needs to have 8 or more inversions.
