  1. Don't forget about the 174 Iron Ghost Rider questions, 22 Kingdom of the Dinosaurs questions, the Toast Rider question, and the Charlie Brown: Drop of Good Grief attached to Xcelerator question. You can't forget about the Killer Catawampuses from Compton question. That was comedy gold.
  2. WCB Knott's was great! Knott's is my home park and the rides in ERT ran the best I have ever seen with some crazy spinning rides on Sierra Sidewinder to a Xcelerator that seemed a little faster than normal. Also, the Montezooma crew was great.
  3. Great updates. I can't wait to go to WCB Knott's tomorrow!
  4. Wouldn't the GP just think it was a lamer version of X2 and Green Lantern? Does SFMM really need 20 coasters? I mean, if the park has trouble maintaining the coasters they already have, why do they keep adding more when they already have the record? SFA could really benifit from Scream, and the park has other coasters that other smaller SF parks would love to get. If their attendance is worse than seasonal parks, why do they keep getting heavily invested in every other year? SFMM will have 19 coasters next year, so it only takes one more coaster to bring it to 20.
  5. ^I don't see a problem with RMC building a coaster from the ground up at SFMM. A lot of people thought American Eagle was going to be Iron Horsed, but instead Goliath was announced.
  6. ^They replaced Gibson Amphitheater with some generic looking office buildings on the park map.
  7. SFMM adding another kiddie coaster next year when their current kiddie coasters have very low ridership.
  8. Honestly, this is the highest quality POV I have seen of the Matterhorn and it looks great in 1080p.
  9. 1990 - 1991 Update EDIT: At September 4th at exactly 9:14:30 P.M., Playland Park has received 10,000 views! (I was the 10,000th view.) The new coaster for Playland Park in 1990 is Samurai! Manufactured by Togo, it is California's only stand-up roller coaster. A view of the rest of Samurai's layout and its queue line. The attraction-less pathway to Samurai from Thrill Shot Plaza. In 1991, a fun house was built in Playland Park. In the summer of 1991, Samurai, Pacific Flyer, and Sierra Mountain River Run all closed down for the remainder of the season for a future ride at Playland Park. It seems that this ride will be large. With the footers being poured, it looks like a new coaster is being built. There's even a footer in between Pacific Flyer's tracks. Also, that attraction-less pathway was removed, it looked temporary when it was built. The trees inside of the infield of Pacific Flyer's helix have been cleared out. Samurai is getting a new paint job with white track. Strange that they are repainting a ride that is only a year old... There's major excavation work being done behind Sierra Mountain River Run. There's even land clearings around Playland's ride shop. Something big is coming... This is the end of the 1990 - 1991 update. Thanks for reading and comments are appreciated.
  10. I was the only person on Vortex (CGA) 3 times during Thank You Thursdays. Those were the best rides I ever had on Vortex as it was actually enjoyable.
  11. I am a coaster that is a rather standard model, though for a few years, stand-up trains were added to make the coaster much more unique. I am long removed from my original home park, though I still operated for many years in my new home, a home far away from my original home. Who am I?
  12. I'm not so sure, though the coaster I rode the most is probably Flight Deck (CGA) or Dragon (LEGOLAND California).
  13. Knott's Berry Farm this Sunday for West Coast Bash.
  14. Apocalypse is similar to Gold Striker, though I like Gold Striker more. I wouldn't have much expectations for Colossus, but it's still a fun coaster.
  15. Quicksilver Express (Gilroy Gardens)
  16. I'd expect number 20 to come in 2016. Most likely a Wing Coaster (possibly to break Gatekeeper's records) or possibly a giga (unlikely). Perhaps an Intamin Wooden (also unlikely). Thoughts? Another kiddie coaster.
  17. Don't expect anything, CGA got Gold Striker this year.
  18. From recent history, I found Leviathan and SFMM's new kiddie coaster to be quite shocking. Funny thing is I posted about putting a drop ride on the side of Superman, but everyone thought my idea was just plain crazy...
  19. If there's a TPR takeover at La Revolucion, I'll be there. Though, the ride usually has a long line, so it discourages me from riding. I might do a courtesy ride on it since you can't make WCB ERT.
  20. How about just Apocalypse? I'm not a big fan of these nicknames, though I try my best to not complain.
  21. I'm thinking this too, though Jaguar doesn't really take up much real estate anyways and still gets a long line in the summer, so I don't see it leaving soon.
  22. I'm expecting that SFDK's operations in January and February will be the same as Holiday in the Park. About Roar, I found the roughness to be the same this year as last year. It's still a lot smoother than GhostRider.
  23. We could just call it Zumanjaro: Drop of Shango...
  24. Hopefully, a nice flat ride will take the place of Windseeker. It's too bad it has to come down as I never was able to ride it (though I was able to watch it running from the Marketplace). Perhaps that Fiesta Village renovation we have all hoped for will come soon.
