  1. I think this is brilliant. Arrow has always made these crazy ideas into reality (Bat, X, etc.), so this coaster feels like something Arrow would try to build today, if they were still around.
  2. Oh, yes it is. Green Lantern tried to smash my head into pieces.
  3. Wealthy
  4. I appreciate the recommendations, though I do not want to re-use ideas or names created by other parks.
  5. I have never seen many people in the Buffalo Nickel Arcade or the Ride Warriors shop downstairs, so I wonder if it would be a good idea to have a dark ride in both levels of the KOD building. This would give Knott's a lot of room to work with. Also, Knott's already has a lot of arcades, such as the Fiesta Village "Arcada" and Bandit Bob, so it's not like Knott's would have a shortage of arcades without Buffalo Nickel.
  6. ^I'm hoping for a good dark ride for 2014.
  7. Thanks. More will come. Thanks. This park is separate from Playland, so the downloads for the two parks will be done at different times. Yeah, I doubt that will happen.
  8. I agree. Putting the rattling aside, my front row ride on Nitro was decent, but nothing great. I wished that there was better airtime on those hills.
  9. ^So, the crowds were the same as two years ago? Sounds like you had a great time and nice trip report.
  10. I agree, though the non-pretzel loop parts of Superman are much less intense than Tatsu.
  11. Tatsu. It has a great layout, but I always have very uncomfortable rides on it. Yet, when I ride other B&M Flyers like Superman at GAdv, it's rather comfortable (except for waiting in the brake run for Superman's horrid operations). So, yeah, I don't really understand why some people love it. Though, that pretzel loop is amazing, the only part of the ride I like.
  12. Have patience. I recently updated my other park thread. I don't do updates every other day, I do good quality updates every two to three weeks. Here's a link to my other RCT2 park thread: http://themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=65905
  13. I'm hoping for a Steel Dragon 2000 clone.
  14. None of those companies even made a hyper coaster, let alone a giga coaster.
  15. It would be hilarious if the Carowinds giga coaster ends up being 307' tall.
  16. That support behind the wall also looks very close if you ask me. It will aether just miss or hit it. Good to see that the chain is on site (Check Koppen's source for picture) they keep it going there. That support holds up the track shown in the photo.
  17. The problem with a Sky Rocket-like coaster is that it doesn't have that high of a capacity. With what Cedar Fair has been adding lately, it seems that they want rather high capacity rides, as shown through their installations of Leviathan, Gatekeeper, Gold Striker, & Banshee. Also, doesn't Hurler take up a large amount of space? I could see the large, new coaster being built there.
  18. So...by this basis...does that mean SFMM is the only park in the world No, it's both the best and worst amusement park, because it's SFMM.
  19. I don't post overviews of my park. You have to wait for the download.
  20. There will be beach photos in Part 2. Oahu and the Big Island might have the famous beaches, but I think Maui has better beaches.
  21. Update 2 Now, here's the rest of the park: Here is Murdoch Gardens' Ferris Wheel. This is Wolverine, a rare Huss Ranger. Road Rage is a Mack wild mouse coaster themed to the 1950s. It has a bit of a Mulholland Madness inspiration to how there are signs around the ride positioned for riders to see. There are 1950s cars in the queue line, but unfortunately, the queue's tarp covering hides the cars. These are two rather standard rides with standard names: Scrambler & Dodgem. I think it's pretty easy to tell which name goes to which ride. This is the "Mount Sonora Mine Train" roller coaster, a family coaster positioned on a natural hill at the back portion of the park. It's rather compact, but there was just enough room for a forest to be created. Watch about for that dynamite! This is Mount Sonora Mine Train's station. Stay away from those gallows. This is the end of the 2nd update. Thanks for reading and comments are appreciated.
  22. Some of us on chat did these "awards" and well, the awards lost their seriousness after the first few, but it came out to be pretty hilarious: Most Overrated coaster: Millennium Force Most Underrated coaster: Blue Streak Best Landscaping: EPCOT Worst Park Fanboys: Disneyland Best Waterpark with Free Admission: Splashin' Safari Worst Coaster: Green Lantern First Flight Worst Amusement Park: Six Flags Magic Mountain Best Airtime Coaster: Full Throttle Strangest Coaster: Green Lantern First Flight Best Halloween Show: The Hanging Best Family Park: Legoland California Best Disney Dark Ride: Tower of Terror (DHS) Best Park Chain: Cedar Fair Best Flat Ride: Sylvester's Pounce & Bounce Best Classic Coaster: Leap the Dips Best Dinn Woodie: Mean Streak Best Coaster: Magic Flyer Best Amusement Park: Six Flags Magic Mountain
  23. Taking out a water attraction for a water attraction? Classic Six Flags. It's too bad they took the water playground out as it was a nice water playground and there was a good amount of kids there in the summer.
