  1. I'm proud of the parks that I have here in Southern California, though I prefer Central Florida. Heck, I think the entire WDW resort is better than all of the So Cal parks combined.
  2. Mmmh... Disneyland (if you mean like Paris VS Orlando...) Disneyland has actually quite the same rides, however, Indiana Jones and Space mountain make a difference. We were a bit more bored in Orlando, but in Paris? We were energetic all the way through (Last visit was 5 months ago) I more mean Disneyland California vs. Magic Kingdom. I would assume that more TPR members have been to the original Disneyland than Disneyland Paris.
  3. ^Looks great. The only thing I would change is more variation of color in your buildings. Keep up the good work!
  4. Pony Express (Knott's) It would be much better if it was a little longer and had more comfortable restraints.
  5. Knott's is officially better than Magic Mountain. Hands down.
  6. A few notes from my visit in the daytime hours yesterday: --Montezooma is running great! The back seat left me more dizzy than insane spinning on Hat Dance and that's a good thing! --The Haunt overlay of the Mine Ride was operating in the daytime hours and I thought it was well done. The (don't want to spoil it) in the lake room was very surprising. (Heck, I think the fog in the lake room should be something permanent, it's much nicer than staring at a room with a still lake.) --GhostRider is a little bit smoother than usual, at least I didn't get a headache on it like I usually do. --Johnny Rocket's is such a good price and tastes so good (yet I'm not a fan of Johnny Rocket's). Plus, you can't beat the great view of the Boardwalk. --It's nice to see Wheeler Dealer open in October --If you're a passholder at Knott's and you have never been to the Pony Express Outpost, check it out! It's open rarely as it's only open when the one staffed employee is there and it is filled with all these oddball things like toads, shark eyeballs (that you can touch), etc. --I'm still confused on whether or not you can snap on Surfside Gliders. You can't "jerk" the flyers yet the management at WCB said you can snap the flyers. --What the hell is wrong with Magic Mountain? Seriously, Magic Mountain made me miserable before I even walked inside the gates and Knott's made me have a really good time before walking in the gates. (Man, those good-priced cookies in the Farm Bakery are so good.) --Knott's is so awesome that I renewed my pass during my park visit. Yay for free entry until December 2014!
  7. Walt Disney World
  8. My favorite TPR POV. This is proof on why I will never get the Manhattan Express credit (unless there is a drastic change to make it good).
  9. I'm not trying to feud with you but SeaWorld Parks has been famous for quality and look at the parks this year. Have you visited a Six Flags park this year? I have been to Magic Mountain four times, Great Adventure once, and Discovery Kingdom once this year. Look above at my post about my visit to SFMM two weeks ago. I had more problems on my 6 visits to Six Flags parks this year than my 23 visits to Cedar Fair parks this year.
  10. Cedar Fair by a million miles. I'm not a great advocate for Cedar Fair, but it's way better than a company that is notorious for being low quality. Also, SFMM does not show the best of Six Flags as I have never seen a park do so many inconveniences such as: -Major rides not opening with the park (for whatever reason) -The trams (buses) waiting in its spot for fifteen minutes (and departing from the station seconds after letting impatient people off) -Inefficient security lines -Multiple coasters running one train empty (probably not for maintenance reasons) -Ride operators overriding the on-ride audio with extremely annoying sounds -One train operation during Fright Fest despite there being two train operation in daytime hours Also, I forgot to mention. All of this happened on ONE DAY! I'm fine with a few inconveniences per day, though when there is literally inconveniences after inconveniences, it gets out of hand.
  11. I like the video, though I'm not a big fan of the video's effects. I think it would look nicer if the lens flares was toned down.
  12. It reminds me of GhostRider as it seems to have a good layout while being very rough.
  13. Vortex (California's Great America)
  14. He seems to be simply looking for some attention as many of his comments have intentionally wrong facts to make Magic Mountain "look good".
  15. Riding with your hands up is simply more fun. Medusa (DK)'s zero-G roll is a perfect example of this. If you hold on to the OTSR during the zero-G roll, you don't feel much, but if you don't hold on to it, it's much more exciting.
  16. Giant Dipper is very smooth for a wooden coaster, especially with the recent re-tracking that they did. It's nice to see SCBB taking good care of this ride.
  17. It's a nice coaster, though I really haven't noticed much airtime on it despite going on it dozens of times. I like it more for its old school feel to it.
  18. What if Cedar Fair bought Magic Mountain and re-named every single roller coaster? This is what they would be re-named: Apocalypse: Dinosaur Salvation: The Ride Batman: Flight Deck Canyon Blaster: Cosmic Coaster Colossus: Rebel Racer Full Throttle: Jr. Gemini Goldrusher: Cedar Creek Mine Ride Goliath: Intimidator Green Lantern: Greenhawk Magic Flyer: Gemini Ninja: Iron Vortex Revolution: Loop Riddler's Revenge: Mantis's's's Revenge Road Runner Express: Jr. Gemini to the Second Power Scream!: Dominator?? Superman: Escape from Krypton: Flight: Escape from Jr. Gemini Tatsu: Orangehawk Viper: Snake X2: Spinning Roller Coaster 2014 coaster: Millennium Force Plus Fourteen Years
