  1. I had one this morning, but already sold it off. It was a fun night overnight waiting, but I'll live. I made some money off it, and that was all I was looking for. I know that there will be plenty to come, the store I was at this morning had 87 and will be getting 53 more in tomorrow. Keep trying people, they will come soon. -RD
  2. The Wal Mart I was at today had PS3 games in the shelves. I was quite suprised. -RD
  3. I went by Wal Mart today and saw the long line which had already formed for the PS3. I'm gonna stick with my 360 for a while. I just got it a few weeks ago and I'm loving it. I think I'll get a Wii next. Elissa, I worked at Best Buy last year for the 360 launch, most stores will hold all accessories and games until launch day to make sure the people actually getting systems will get the product too. It stinks, but you may have to wait until Sunday to get your second controller. Good Luck -RD
  4. If not, I think we all had fun last year. Even if we get like two suites and share them, it will be a blast. We need adjoining... I can only imagine the drunken fun... -RD

  15. So those of you who know me, know that I'm a huge Sacramento Kings fan, but I just enjoy the sport period. Needless to say, I love going to Warriors games, just for the atmosphere. So I called Sarah this afternoon and said, Lets go to the Warriors game tonight, it started at 7:30, and I bought $10 tickets online. We get to the arena, pick up our tickets at will call and go in and sit down, top row of the arena, not suprising, cheap tickets. We are sitting there and some guy comes and sits down next to us, we start chatting and we find out that this guy works for the NBA, well diving more into it, he is the Sacarmento Kings Emcee and his main job is too pump up the crowd during games. If any of you are NBA fans, he is knwon around the league as "Big Mike." Of course naturally me being a sports fan we started chatting it up. Sarah wasn't interested at first, but once we found out his list of credentials included the MTV Movie/Music Awards voice... I think we were both impressed. He even did the voice for us, it was pretty cool. Needless to say, if that wasn't enough, I was telling Big Mike bout my radio stuff (I do sports announcing in San Jose for San Jose State University) and he says, "Well this is your lucky night, my wife is the Executive producer for KMBR." KMBR is the SF Bay Area Sports Station which is home to the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco Giants. I was shocked. So we spent the rest of the game hanging out with this semi-celebrity and his wife who are awesome contacts for me and my career. They ended up leaving mid-way through the 4th quarter, but Jenn (his wife) gave me her card and invited me into the studio sometime, and Mike (Big Mike) invited me up to a Kings game in his personal seats. I was stoked! The other cool thing is Jenn knew one of my friends who I worked at the station with, and was now working for her. That six degrees of seperation is pretty crazy. Just thought I would have to share this pictures are below... Here is more information on Big Mike. http://www.nba.com/kings/news/Big_Mike.html Here is his history: As an Announcer ..... Three cops and a guy lying on the ground. Hopefully he didn't get shot. Look familar Rick? Luckily I didn't get shot tonight either. The newly renamed Oracle Arena. They were quick to get the logo up. The view from our seats. Good game till second half, then the Lakers broke it open. Another shot. They did win a championship way back when? Will this be the year again.. Probably not. A shot of me. I liked this picture. That is it. Warriors ended up losing the game, but it was still an awesome experience meeting "Big Mike" and his wife Jenn. -RD

  24. Just hit the park during the day on an off day as mentioned, and get your tickets early. It's also nice when the side entrance is open for pre-purchased tickets because there is almost never a line to get through security there, at least with my experiences, but yea... Always get your tickets early! -RD
