  1. Just came back from seeing the new Michael Moore film, "Sicko," and I must say that I am very fortunate to be living in a country where health care is much more accessible. Has anyone else seen this movie yet? What are your thoughts?
  2. A&F is one of the "lower-end" designers. They are a "wannabe" expensive brand IMO. $398?!! That's almost two pairs of True Religions, Seven's For All Mankind, or Rock & Republic.. all of which are of MUCH MUCH better quality than A&F. I worked at the Abercrombie & Fitch in San Francisco and I can tell you that all of their more expensive "specialty" jeans are no different than their normal $100 -$150 dollar jeans. It's just another way for the company to trick their customers into spending huge sums of money on jeans that aren't even high quality. They just add a "limited edition" tag to their products and instantly prices go up ten fold. I hope no one is actually stupid enough to invest practically $400 dollars on destroyed denim from Abercrombie & Fitch... even if you do have the money. Oh, and just FYI A&F -- destroyed/ripped jeans are OUT of style and they have been for a LONG time now!
  3. Great update! Just a quick question... did the double dip first drop provide any decent air on Magnum?
  4. USA Germany England Australia Austria Switzerland Netherlands Japan Thailand Taiwan China Belgium France Italy Mexico
  5. What? I haven't heard of anyone who doesn't like that movie! Anyone seen Gremlins? It's one of my all-time favorites but a lot of people don't seem to like it because it was made in the 80's but I think that's what makes it so great!
  6. The official teaser for 1-18-08 is now available to watch on Apple Trailers Here is the link: http://www.apple.com/trailers/paramount/11808/
  7. Becoming Insane by Infected Mushroom Anyone here listen to them?
  8. I'm a social smoker I guess....

  10. I'm Felix and I live in Germany!
  11. Did a little research and apparently J.J. Abrams (producer of Alias, Lost, Armageddon and the director and writer of MI3) is directing. He wants to keep this movie totally top secret which explains why there is no name for the film and why it is not searchable on the internet. If you caught the trailer before Transformers, much of it had a shaky, "Blair-witch" feel to it which is intended to make the audience feel like they are in the middle of all the mayhem. It's not overdone, and it added a lot of fear and excitement to the audience. I remember as soon as the trailer ended, everyone was like, "What was that?? I have to see it!" Although there is not much on it yet, here is the official site: http://www.1-18-08.com/
  12. Transformers was AMAZING! I loved every second of it! Quick question though....... During the previews, there was this one trailer that started off with this guy named Rob (or Bob or something) and all of his friends were throwing him a going away party because he was leaving to go to Japan to study abroad. In the middle of the celebration, there was this huge explosion and carnage ensues throughout NYC. It was a short but intense teaser. I didn't catch the name of the flick... did anyone else see this trailer?
  13. That wasn't really the ending, it was the final frame. I'm talking about what happened to Beth........
  14. I've recently been gettin' into Daft Punk... anyone like them? I love the song Digital Love by them!
  15. I just saw Hostel II and it was a little disappointing to say the least........ **Potential Spoilers** The first hour or so of the movie seemed to be EXACTLY like the first film. Three Americans (this time 3 girls) go to Europe to party and end up getting tortured and killed. Some of the actresses in this movie were AWFUL. I swear the casting director just took a bunch of Eastern European models and just gave them some lines to read! I will give Hostel this... the last hour was really twisted, sick and scary. I especially enjoyed the sly exploration of two American clients hopping on the “torture” bandwagon. And the ending... oh my... the ending. Pretty crazy stuff. All in all, the movie did what it was supposed to do... gross you out and scare you. Definitely not for the faint hearted... 7.5/10
  16. That vertical launch looks insane! Although the ride does seem a little rough towards the end.... I think I heard a few ow's?
  17. I don't mind waiting in line as long as it's moving (like most people have said) and as long as no one is showing excessive PDA in front or in back of me. Has that every happened to any of you? A couple gettin' reaaaaaal into it in front of all these people? Ugh. It's just gross and it makes everyone around them feel so awkward.
  18. Wow! Talocan looks great! I have always thought of Phantasialand as more of a family theme park with tamer rides but with the addition of this great Top Spin and Black Mamba, it truly is becoming a destination for thrill seekers!
  19. Silver Star almost one year ago... it's been too long
  20. Great TR! I love the color scheme/logo for Firehawk and I think the theme is very fitting next to Flight of Fear!
  21. ^I've actually heard great things about "Bug"... not for the faint of heart I've been told though! Anyways, I just finished watching "28 Weeks Later" and absolutely loved it. It was like "Children of Men" for the horror genre. Excellent film. Anyone seen it yet?
  22. Wow! That looks surprisingly fun! From the construction pictures, I had the impression that SS would be a little slow but I am glad to see that I am totally wrong! That thing zips through the course so quickly! I can't wait to ride it!
