  1. Lots of bird incidents. When I was at Geauga Lake in 2004 my boyfriend and I were waiting in line for Steel Venom, there was one rider on the train at the time and a bird hit the seat right next to him [the seat I was going to sit in the ride right after] and went skipping across the station. When I was waiting for Millenium Force a few days later, a train ran over a Hawk. Unfortunately the Hawk was still alive through this whole ordeal because the train only ran over its wing and it was trapped for nearly an hour before they could get it out. I'm not sure what they did with it afterwards.
  2. I saw High Tension this past Friday. It was possibly the worst movie I've ever seen. It made absolutely no sense..at all. Apparently the writers argue that the plot holes are there to make you think, but really they just got too lazy to fill them in. I am all for movies that make you think, but there's a difference between a movie that makes you think and a movie that makes absolutely no sense. There is also a 'twist' at the end that makes the movie make even less sense and pretty much takes away any element of fear that was there in the first place. The movie was translated to English from French, but they got too lazy to finish translating, so the second half of the movie is subtitled instead. I would definately not recommend this movie to anyone.
  3. Paramount Canada's Wonderland, no idea how many times. I had a seasons pass from the time I was 8 until the time I was 16, then got one again this past summer. For a few years when I was younger I probably went at least once or twice a week. Cedar Point, 9 or 10 times.
  4. I've been on over 125 coasters, but I've never been to a Six Flags park.
  5. That looks crazy. If I just saw pictures of this I probably wouldn't think much of it, but the POV makes me want to go ride it right now.
  6. Nooooo more banana phone!!!!! I just got the banana phone song out of my head for the fifth time in the past few weeks and now it's back. I will admit that it's an amusing picture though. Awesome TR. What Disney movie is Mushu from?
  7. Wow. I can't stop looking at that picture. I want to ask how they got the stitches through your finger nail, but I don't really want you to have to re-live that experience. I hope it stops hurting soon and everything else gets worked out.
  8. That's actually very impressive. When I was little I used to drag a hose to the top of my swing set and run it down the slide to make a water slide. I'd also put one of those kiddie pools at the bottom so you'd splash into it at the end. Does that count?
  9. The "Is this an acceptable amount of water?" is awesome.
  10. I think I may even be more picky of an eater then Elissa. I've never taken the skin off my hot dogs though.
  11. rollercoasters chinchillas going to the gym the pink thing that looks like Pepto Bismol from Tim Hortons Disaster Transport diet vanilla coke [everyone keeps telling me they stopped making this and this is why I can't find it anywhere  ] uhh...I'm sure there's more.
  12. I like how the elmo car thing says "+18" instead of "+18mos". You must be 18 years old to play with elmo. Did the toe things work?
  13. It's like that here too now. All virgins, hardly any people who have been before so everyone is quiet and doesn't do anything. I've only been a few times..I stopped going when it stopped being fun. My initiation involved someone's tongue going in my ear. That balloon thing doesn't seem bad at all. Sorry your friends were party poopers.
  14. The pictures of Cyclone make me even more sad that it was raining when I was at Williams Grove I'm enjoying all the TRs you're posting, keep 'em coming!
  15. The pipe slide looks very weird..how does it work? Do you go up and down the sides and slide off eventually?
  16. Happy Halloween!
  17. I'm afraid of dinosaurs. My boyfriend made me go on the Jurassic Park ride at Islands of Adventure and the 8 year old girl I had to sit beside kept looking at me funny because I hid my face the whole time and was about ready to cry.
  18. I'm 5'6.
  19. Hmm...that Star World guy reminds me of Yoda's head on someone else's body, and there's a blue CP30 in the background. Great pictures, it looks like you guys had a good time. Did you guys have to wait long for the rides? It looks like it was really crowded.
  20. I blacked out on Laser at Dorney Park and missed half the ride..both times.
  21. That's a lot of cookies  Very nice pictures.
  22. But you can use the DDR pad, and it's still less than you'd pay in a store or wherever else you'd get one, so it's well worth it. The cost of the restraint may be much less than the park paid when it went onto the train, but unless you find something creative to do with it it'll just sit there. But I guess if it just sitting there makes you happy it could be a good investment?
  23. It would be interesting to see what else people come up with.
