I wasn't really a fan of Twister, but Phoenix I liked a lot. While it wasn't one of my favorite coasters it was a lot of fun and produced a lot of airtime. As for when you should visit, avoid hot weekends in August. Everyone's saying that they've never seen lines longer than 15 minutes, but I waited around 40 minutes for both Twister and Phoenix until later in the day when it started to rain and people started to leave.

I'm glad I saved La Ronde for next year!

The only time I ever make my bed is when I change the sheets...so once a week, but even then I just throw everything on so it never looks nice and neat.

Ouch! Can't wait to see the pictures of the stitches...I mean, I hope it heals quickly.

I count racing coasters as 1, most are essentially the same layout regardless of which way you ride. Because dueling coasters have different layouts I count them as 2, although when I'm asked how many coasters I've been on I still say "it depends on whether you count Dueling Dragons as 1 or 2 coasters."

So are we shooting at the people engaging in physical activities because Hershey is trying to get the message of "chocolate = good, physical activity = bad" across?

I went on the flying scooters at Knoebel's, but I still don't get why they're so great. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, or maybe I just didn't get that great of a ride? What do you mean by snapping..throwing the sail thing all the way to one side really fast?

Now I'm even more upset that the only day I was ever there it was raining and they couldn't run the rides. I was sitting in Cyclone's front car, but they couldn't run it. The ride op told my boyfriend and I that as long as the rain was light and we found 2 other people to ride [there needed to be at least 4 people on the train] he'd run it for us, but by the time we found 2 others, it was raining too hard

An hour for Pteranodon Flyers at IOA. The time sign thing said 75 minutes, but it lied in our favor. I also waited around half an hour for Scooby's Ghoster Coaster at PKI.

I didn't really enjoy Knoebel's all that much. Of course I visited on a very hot Sunday in August, and the lines were actually pretty long [40+ minutes for Twister, same for Phoenix] so I'm sure that didn't help..and I guess I missed out on the great atmosphere that I keep hearing people talk about. I'm not saying it's not there, just that I didn't experience it. I also missed out on the haunted mansion since the line was over an hour and a half and I wasn't willing to wait that long..yes that part is my fault. Also visiting on a Sunday was probably not that great of an idea, but it was the only day we could schedule it into our trip. I guess it all depends on what you and your family like to do and what kind of atmosphere you like. If you like a lot of thrill rides, more then 3 coasters, and if you like steel more then wood, I wouldn't recommend going to Knoebel's. Personally I would say Hershey. It's a nice park with a lot to do, a nice variety of coasters, Lightning Racer , and the chocolate factory is right next door. It would likely be more crowded then a smaller park though.
