  1. I decided that resolutions are BS so here are some really easy ones. Emily inspired #3 lol. 1. Earn more than $100. 2. Exercise at least twice. 3. Figure out how to insert the phrase "do my tits in" into conversation at least once a week.
  2. Dude... Tyler... SEND ME THAT BOOK I WANT TO READ IT SO BAD!!! I'm not even kidding! I'll pay you shipping...
  3. Awwww that reminds me of the TPR UK trip when Stealth hit a bird and there was a shower of feathers!! Good memories!
  4. Seriously, who cares if HSTC goes? It is fun and unique, but really, not that great of a ride with no "target audience". You have to be as tall to ride Phoenix, and if you're a 12 year old kid with the choice of riding Phoenix or High Speed Thrill Coaster, which will you choose?? I hope they replace it with a true kiddy coaster, it's something the park needs in my opinion.
  5. ^I rode Griffon before I rode SheiKra and I like SheiKra better, so there goes your theory.
  6. Waste of money! Why would you do that to yourself? How can you even clean the one on your back?
  7. ^Yeah well your whole poll makes me go "uh... WHAT?!" Nemesis #85 right under Dark Knight at SFGAd... Air dead last underneath G Force at Drayton Manor... Do you just have something against Alton Towers? Well I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion.
  8. Wow, Behemoth right under Nemesis????? It's good, but not THAT good...
  9. Man, I really can't wait to ride the Voyage to see what all the fuss is about. Also, nice debut for Ravine Flyer II!
  10. Knoebel's is still trying to figure out Flying Turns, I don't think they're ready for a "fixer-upper", another "not sure if it's going to work" ride!
  11. I started working on a park that will have several themed areas. So far, there is a pirate themed area called Swashbuckler's Cove, and the beginning of a space themed area that only has 2 rides so far. I want to get this park as realistic looking as possible, so all suggestions are welcome!!! Enterprise. Over to the space themed area, which will sort of be themed to a Space Academy/training center. Part of the golf course An overview of the other side of the lake, which includes Treasure Falls Mini Golf What will one day be the crowning glory of this area... Escape from Davey Jones' Locker. It's a water coaster/dark ride, and the theming is NOWHERE near complete! The station is about 50% done, and there are a few dark ride scenes set up, but there is much more to come. One of the restaurants in the area A view of some theming from the pirate ship Here you can see the park's pirate ship, which is very popular at the moment Swashbuckler's Cove is made up of a bunch of buildings around a lake. At the end of Main Street is a little fountain, and the entrances to all the themed areas. You can see Swashbuckler's Cove in the distance. This kid watched the skyride for a while. Here's the first restaurant along the Main Street area. But there's NOTHING between the two stations yet! I intend on filling this area with shops and restaurants. There is a chairlift that takes you down the "main street" section of the park towards the themed areas... Here's the park entrance. Any ideas on how to spruce it up? I made little ticket counters and put windows on it...
  12. So if the first drop starts around 117 seconds, where are all those G's before it coming from??
  13. Here's an interesting article about Hard Rock Park: http://www.myrtlebeachonline.com/business/story/708042.html A few excerpts: Interesting! So basically they did everything wrong from the get-go, and one of the guys responsible for the whole mess seems to put the whole blame on $4 per gallon gas this summer.
  14. I will probably see Harry Potter and Transformers.
  15. I'm joining that side... ---Brent I'm on the side of "they both suck".
  16. ^Is that going to be a totally new coaster, or just a re-theme? I'm not too sad to see Tornado go. It was really cool looking but didn't do much. Still, I have never seen another ride like it and I'm glad I got to ride.
  17. ^That IS Domo in that picture... Thanks Robb and everybody for a great first time to California! I only ate 1 hot wing so I emerged pretty much unscathed. My lips were red and almost throbbing the whole night though.
  18. Man, I wish I could get my parks to be HALF as realistic as yours are! Nice work!
  19. Dream Theater is OK. They belong here. http://www.themeparkreview.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=46565&start=130
  20. "I'm So Sick" - Flyleaf
  21. So they've started playing Hollywood Undead on XM, which I find really amusing since I've been listening to them since they started up in 2005 and never knew anyone who had ever heard of them until I randomly heard their new song "Undead" on the radio. Gotta love it!
  22. ^^They did the same thing at this year's Coastin' by the Ocean. Sad they couldn't save it, but I'm not surprised. Here are my pics from earlier this year. Station
  23. Ahhh, the airtime hill on Speed. It left bruises on my shoulders that lasted for 2 weeks. And I never bruise. Gosh I miss that ride.
  24. I was just there for the first time this past Saturday, and I didn't notice any terribly long and steep hill. Am I just that oblivious, was I detoured away from the hill on purpose, or are you guys just that out of shape?
  25. 1. Miley Cyrus 2. Kelly Ripa 3. Will Ferrell (I know, really random guesses but hey whatever!)
