Trust me, the ONLY reason we didn't ride the Lady Gay is because we ran out of time! That stupid other boat ride took WAY too long! If we'd had more time, we would have ridden the Lady Gay and sang Cher songs the whoooole ride. -

LOL!!! "Project Giant Gurgle" !!!!!! Elissa, I will pay you 50 pence (half a pound? How do you Brits say that?) to ride with KT. I have some left over from the last UK trip! That's like a dollar US! -

Thanks for the comments guys! I've been really busy studying lately, I haven't had much time to work on the park... I will post an update of what's new later tonight. -

More pictures... We had a great day (err... 2 hours) at Dutch Wonderland! A very cute place I would definitely take my kids to! This makes up for the last one! AWWW OK, not so cute. We decided to check out the cute animals on the way out of the park. Hi Barry! OMG!!! IT WORKED!! Derek wished to see the Lady Gay. We found a wishing log!! We decided to walk through the path. And then a random cow popped out at us. WTF?! Well, it wasn't as scary as the Alton Towers log flume. Pretty fountain! Canabian. Swan. Pretty! This boat ride took us through a very pretty scenic walking path area. Our next stop was YET ANOTHER boat ride. I could feel the Lady Gay was near! And they had a dive show themed to the Frog Prince. Fun Slides and the coaster There's a little parachute drop ride. The park has the most transport rides ever. There's a monorail, a skyride, and the train. More from the skyride... here are the antique cars, we did not ride them. -

More pictures. Dutch Wonderbushes!! I'll post more pictures later on tonight! And obligatory "Derek and Nicole being cute on a skyride" picture. Next, we rode the sky ride. Here's an overview of one section of the park. And there's a TURTLE! Best boat ride ever! The park's dragon mascot is there, and his head moves and he talks. But you can't understand what he says! You ride in a log around a little lake. The next stop on our quest was the Dragon's Lair, the closest thing to a "dark ride" at the park And here's the Voyager. Both were kind of boring, but I've been spoiled by Disney World... A bit of simulator history. Over to the simulator corner of the park... they have an old Astroliner right next to a "top of the line" simulator You sit on this bench and the room spins around you. It's very disorienting! The Dutch Wonder House. The granddaddy of the Vekoma Madhouse. Next is something really cool. YES!! The TURTLE Whirl!! We got it to spin pretty good too! OMG! Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing?? -
The original plan for yesterday was to hit up a park a few hours away so I could get some credits. However, the weather people were predicting thunder storms, which are never good news at a park, so we decided not to go. Wake up yesterday morning and of course there's not a cloud in the sky and it's 70 degrees. "SCREW YOU, WEATHERMEN!" we said, and started thinking of what park to go to instead. Never waste a good weather day! We considered Dorney, but Voodoo's not open yet. The only logical conclusion was... DUTCH WONDERLAND!! And Derek learned how to milk a cow. More pictures to come shortly!!! The log flume didn't work, so we decided to learn how to be Amish; maybe THAT would lead us to the Lady Gay. Here I am driving a buggy. ...and a chick who's umbrella is totally working the wrong way. There's also a tunnel... a REALLY AWESOME tunnel with mist!! The log flume has 2 drops. The tiny one makes the bigger splash! We rode it in the hopes that we could channel the spirit of the Lady Gay, seeing as they are sister boat rides after all. Right next to Kingdom Coaster is the park's log flume. Did you know that Kingdom Coaster was CCI's first coaster? If your children are misbehaving on your trip to Dutch Wonderland, you can put them in this cage, cleverly disguised as a "fun scooter maze". Did anyone else used to have these in their gym class??? I sure did! I LOVED these things! Up the lift hill. This picture is boring. The coaster formerly known as Sky Princess is right next to Joust. Hooray for credit #239! Over to the coaster corner of the park, we rode Joust first. Across the suspension bridge, our quest for the Lady Gay began. Very cute castle entrance to this geared-toward-kids park The park is in the middle of a highway with a bunch of businesses all around it. We started off the day at Iron Hill, because what trip to Lancaster would be complete without it??

Trio of RCT2 parks

Thanks! I think I like the last one the best, especially after you close off the layout of the park. I really like how the virginia reel in the 2nd one is over the water. -

I really hope you don't mean you think it's a crime-ridden area, cause it's not. Some of the streets in downtown Niagara Falls are a little sketchy, but near the water is fine. I've been going there by myself with friends since I was 16, in the dark and everything. Plus, there are cool nature things to do. The whirlpool jet boats, Cave of the Winds, Goat Island and the 3 Sister Islands, etc. Nicole "Grew up a 5 minute drive from Niagara Falls!" T -

VERY cool that they're teaming up with Make-A-Wish! Thanks for sharing this Adam! As a side note - does anybody know how many of these trains they bought? Are they replacing all of them? -
So the last time we went back up to Buffalo, we drove thru the Finger Lakes region and I thought by the edge of one of those lakes would be a cool place for an amusement park. I have no add-on packs or custom scenery, so it's all going to be pretty basic for now. Once I get the hang of RCT3 I can start making crazy parks with 700 coasters. My favorite part of the ride is when you drive on top of the roof. That's it for now!! Airtime here? HEeeeeeeelixxxx The water looks nice! Too bad the beach isn't open. Here's an overview of the layout. There's the helix! Big Dipper is the park's classic woodie. There's a scrambler in there! And a coaster in the background!! Heading down the big drop! Not much better over here. The scenery is a bit cheesy, I know. Let's head over to the park's log flume, Adventure Falls. There's the park's newest ride, Rockin' Tug. It looks like more people want to watch than ride today. The mini-helicopters ride offers a nice view of the park. You can see the log flume in the distance. I think I'll pass on eating here. I rode the teacups with this random chick and I swear she was hitting on me. Look at how crowded that food court is! From the top of the lift you can see the vast nothingness that is the park so far. There's a cute kiddy coaster in the middle of it, and I can't remember what it's called! The park for now is mostly a kiddy area, with many rides the whole family can enjoy. Welcome to Seneca Lake Park.

I've just ridden my FIRST INVERSION!

Congrats! Kanonen is a great little ride. That "turn-over" is actually the sharpest transition I've ever experienced on a coaster. I think you'd do fine on Vekomas. -

Nice view of Presque Isle from the top of the lift! Makes me want to go swimming!! I used to go swimming all the time there growing up, but we never went to the park. ::EDITED AGAIN FOR SOUTH PUDDLE'S SAKE::: I'm super excited to ride this, which may be partially because it doesn't have 50 billion fanboys drooling all about it. I'M KIDDING! I'M USING SARCASM!! I'M TRYING TO POKE FUN AT THE BEHEMOTH THREAD! I used to live 2 hours between Waldameer and CW and think it's amusing how few enthusiasts paid attention to the area until now! :::EDIT::: I highly recommend stopping by Presque Isle if you are in the are and want to take in some nature or go for a swim! http://www.presqueisle.org/ -
^Yeah, we got engaged a couple weeks ago.
