Knoebels Discussion Thread
Mrlittle replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Awesome to see flying turns is open finally. Not that I needed a reason to go back to Knoebels but now I have a nice bonus when I do. -
Six Flags St. Louis (SFStL) Discussion Thread
Mrlittle replied to Homer's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
They should do that on all sky screamers. Just think at sfot, 400ft in the air swinging backwards . -
I went this summer for a quick visit. I believe we only had 2 hrs but it was a fantastic 2 hrs. Rode Phoenix twice, Laura got the brass ring on the carousel and of course we spent like 20 bucks on fascination. It was great visit but I want to go back already. When is TPR going back? I miss glow ERT.

Free Club TPR Item Going Out THIS WEEK!
Mrlittle replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I will be happy with whatever cool thing you send us. I just renewed my account for Club TPR because I did not want to miss the awesome discounts and other goodies for next year. I'll Tweet a picture of my new item when it arrives. -
Biometric scanning to go into a Six Flags? Looks like technological overkill. What was wrong with the photo on the card? Doesn't Six Flags have better things to spend money on (like fixing up their rides)? I hope they let people "opt out" of giving SF their fingerprint. According to Screamscape, we will see this at all Six Flags in 2014. I'm not really sure what the point of this is. I mean do a lot of people get away with sharing the season pass? They always seem to look at the picture on mine. I actually liked when the employees were carrying the scanner with them, so you could then just walk right through. Hopefully, the system does not slow us down that much. But then again its Six Flags. Here is the other quote about the new system from Screamscape At least now your coupons will be with you on your card. I wonder if they will have a website or app that shows you the coupons now. I'm sure someone locally to SFOT will be able to give us more details after they used the new system. Otherwise, I will see it first hand when I go buy my new pass.

There has always been a person at the mid course brakes on NTag. I've asked the same question before about why there is a person. One reason I've heard there is that area is known to have power failure. Which makes you wonder why they didn't just take that part out when they transformed it into ntag. But it always had a person, even when it was just Texas Giant. I've heard it might been from a previous accident as well but not sure.

Texas/Midwest 2013 Tour Mini-Updates!
Mrlittle replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ I believe there are still plenty of smooth wooden coasters out there. They might not be as smooth as the RMC coasters but the little bit of roughness makes a wooden coaster. Plus some of the other companies have created track that is as smooth or close to that of RMC's. Hades 360 is just a terrible ride. -
Heide Park Discussion Thread
Mrlittle replied to Sebbe's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The layout is cool. They should give them an award for "Quickest Coaster Built". I'm sure the ride will turn out great for the GP. -
But isn't he now just a bad computer animated version? I miss the original Journey ride that I rode many years ago.
-
I can't decide which ride was my favorite. I loved Horizons and still believe the ride did so many things better then Mission: Space. I of course miss Figment and the original Journey. Journey was actually my first ride at EPCOT when I was a kid. I kind of wish they could bring back the Wonders of Life pavilion. I used to like Body Wars and of course Cranium Command was one of my favorites as a kid. (sigh) At least we have some YouTube videos to watch of Lost EPCOT. Still I pay big bucks to get ride any of those rides again.

Photo TR: Chuck Finally Returns to Japan with TPR
Mrlittle replied to cfc's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Great TR. Disney Sea is a main reason why I want to go to Japan. Just the attention to detail and theming looks beyond any thing. Your whole TR reminded me why I am saving up for Japan. -
Carowinds Discussion Thread
Mrlittle replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You know just thinking about it but a MF type of giga would really put Carowinds on the map. I guess what I'm trying to say is they don't have to build an I-305 but I'm also saying it needs to be Intamin. Simply because Intamin rocks. -
Tournai's fair (Belgium) September 2013
Mrlittle replied to Dragon Khan's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Fun TR. That must of been nice to have the fair so empty. -
I would just try to have your kid ride again. The employees were probably told to look for certain things. I understand your child rode the ride before but that one employee might have just been overly cautious. I would not be surprise if they ask many people to get off who have been on the ride before.
