  1. Thanks for the photos from a few parks I never heard of.
  2. The monorail wrap was a loophole. I feel like Disney could find ways to use Marvel. It doesn't really matter, I want a Star Wars land in DHS anyways. Forget about Superhero and go with Jedi..
  3. I thought it was only the Marvel rights over a few characters that IOA has. It just so happens those characters are pretty much all of the Avengers. I still see Disney finding a loop hole and we will get a Marvel attraction or show someday sooner then when that contract ends.
  4. After I go on the Texas/Midwest TPR Tour of Awesome, I will be hitting up these parks. I was already pretty excited but your report/photos got me more excited. Conneaut looks like a fun place so I hope it can make it through whatever financial problems. I will be sure to spend some dough there to help the cause.
  5. Wait a minute...are you saying they took a Boomerang and made it smooth. Congrats to them. Perhaps some of the other parks with boomerangs will be able to make the switch. Thanks for the report.
  6. I like that the Smiler is very compact and doesn't look like it takes up much room. I always thought there was supposed to be more to the inside part of the ride or was that always rumors?
  7. Knotts will never invite Gertrude again for a media event. The new Boardwalk area looks great. I never rode Timber Mountain before but I always enjoy seeing a park spend money to update old rides and keep them going for generations to come.
  8. umm exactly? ^as far as your intense ride spill goes. I enjoy all coasters and some of my favorites are not very intense. I was hoping with all the land KI has that they would do something just out there. Something with Intamin to be exact but to go with a wing coaster is boring to me. I rather KI give B&M another chance at a Giga. Still nothing is confirmed but screamscape is good at what they do so I am bummed. I meant, i don't get what the big deal about not liking them is, like why are they so terrible because they don't pull 300G's+- Oh I knew what you meant, I was just being a smart aleck by using your question out of context.

  10. I will answer your questions since I can't seem to sleep. You really should just find a way to get out to the park to ride this season. 1. I love the first drop best. Especially as it curves a little to the left. I pick this first drop as my favorite out of all the coasters I have been on. My second favorite part is actually right after the barrel roll is a small bunny hop that is full of airtime in pretty much every seat of the train. 2. I have not been on Outlaw Run but will in August on the TPR Tour. I have been on NTAG. I love the airtime on both but NTAG has more airtime. But to be fair, NTAG is a longer ride. I think it would be easier to compare OR and Irat since they are shorter rides. I'm still debating on where I ranked Iron Rattler but its in my top 5 near NTAG. 3. Its hard to compare El Toro and Skyrush to Iron Rattler. But if your referring to how the airtime is felt on both because your knees are hitting the lapbar. Then yes, Iron Rattler has 4 spots where your getting some serious airtime and feel it. Not really sure how else you would want to compare the three. Of course all 3 are in my top 10
  11. Let's enjoy the great Iron Rattler and its jaw-dropping first drop for the rest of the season before we start guessing what will be built next.
  12. ^sweet , the area looks great. There is actually a lot more theming going on then I thought they would have. I can't wait to grab me a Krusty Burger with a Flaming Moe. Looks like Moe's Bar is already pretty busy.
  13. That is sad about the tail. The train still looks awesome and the ride is still awesome. That's all I care about.
  14. I love that they still have all the tools and stuff out around the ride. I'm surprised they did not change the sign. So after hearing a few reviews, it sounds like you just have to know when to brace yourself for the rough spots.
  15. Looks like two great new shows. I really need to make a Cali trip soon to go to check out the new stuff. I think I would have a problem going to a media event with all that delicious looking food. Great photos and report.
  16. For anyone who has been able to ride, I have a question for you. When your riding and it transitions over to the new track, do you feel any jolts or rough parts?
  17. It looks great from testing. The train is just speeding through the roll. I can't wait to hear some reviews of it soon.
  18. Yeah Gravity Group has posted this on twitter. I guess they don't need any testing? I hope a TPR member near by can go check it out.
  19. Now if its a B&M Giga LAME But if its a INTAMIN Giga YAY!!!!
  20. looks great, I'm going to have to make a trip to SFOT soon to get my NTAG rides and a ride on the Texas Sky Screamer. I think I will wait till night to ride it.
  21. Looks like a great attraction for the whole family to enjoy. I really like the music that was playing through out the ride.
  22. I'm excited to hear more on the Simpsons area that might be announced today. (even though it just a few facades to the stores) I want to know how much I will have to pay to eat a Krusty burger with a Flaming Moe.
  23. ^^You should get your son to work with the Dippin' Dots employee. We would have this coaster figured out in no time.
