B&M Wing Rider Coasters - Love or Hate?
Mrlittle replied to jfruge's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I look at wingrider coasters and say to myself "at least their not stand up coasters". Want to talk about HATE for a coaster, I really hate stand up coasters. With that being said, I enjoyed riding Wild Eagle at night (perhaps because it blinded me) but overall it would never break my top 50 coasters or anything. About the only thing I remember from the coaster was my chest being crushed while waiting at the breaks. I thought the so called knee crush restraints on Skyrush were a cake walk compared to the crushing vests on wild eagle. I get to ride Xflight and Gatekeeper this summer. I'm sure I will enjoy the rides but probably won't love them. -

It may not be a coaster but they really could use a new attraction. My niece used to love to go the park but now she calls it boring. She rather we take her to one of the six flags. You can only feed a dolphin so many times. Someone already posted it earlier, but I too believe the park will perhaps go with a Antarctica dark ride type of attraction. The park needs some kind of new attraction. I know they are planning to add more to the Aquatica water park. The park really has a lot of land that they have not even developed near by. -

Bringing back some great memories. I just thought of the ROLL BACK we had on Kingda Ka. -
Actually, I would say if the line is at the entrance of NTAG, its probably an 1.5 to 2 hrs wait. I have been on the ride multiple times where the line is right near train tracks and still waited around 45 minutes to an 1 hr. It really just depends on the flash pass person letting people up the station. To many times they don't feel up the station and let trains go empty.

Its in the queue line as soon as you walk in its front of you. Then you walk to the left of it. Yesterday the message seemed to be talking about still building the coaster. I wonder if they will change it. I'm referring to the message you get when you call the phone number on the truck. That changed around the queue line a bit as well. They have a new flash pass entrance also. I think the exit now will not take you through the gift shop near by.

^^^Great review of the day, By any chance are you that famous guy I heard about who came all the way from Houston to ride it? Someone asked me that. I think they knew one of the employees of the previous day who heard me say I was from Houston. I guess when the story got to them, I was famous. But enough about me, go ride Iron Rattler now

I got to ride Iron Rattler (stop counting after 24) today for the Travel Channel shoot. We had a great group of riders today. Everyone stayed on the ride till 5 and everyone was still clapping, hands up and yelling the whole time. I wish I was on the ride right now. Okay, do yourself a flavor and wait till it warms up to get on this coaster. The coaster goes so much faster when its really hot. That first drop is beyond awesome. The little bunny hill after the barrel roll is full of airtime. Irat has made it high on my ranking after so many rides today. I basically sat in each row and I think my favorite is last row, left. Jamie thanks again for letting me part of the shoot. Tell the whole Iron Rattler crew that they did awesome today. I'm already trying to plan my next trip to come ride it again.

I was able to get two rides in today. That first drop is fantastic. The tunnel is awesome with the lights and mist. A great coaster all around. I'm not sure where I rank it yet but I'm coming back tomorrow to ride more. Fiesta Texas has a winner on there hands. Oh yeah the Six Flags crew at the park today was awesome.

Kickstarter uses Amazon Payments to pay your pledge. You could add a bank account to Amazon if you feel safe about that. You could also go to local store and buy a Amazon gift card with cash. Then Amazon Payments will use the gift card to pay for your kickstarter pledge. At least that is what I read that it will use your gc balance first. I don't believe there is any way you could just send cash. Of course its very easy if you just give someone cash and they let use a credit card. Looks like around 3,000 left. We can do this.

^that train is hauling through the course. -
The good thing is SFFT is open till 9pm Saturday. So I would say after a few hrs at SeaWorld, just go back to SFFT for night rides on Iron Rattler. You probably can knock out SeaWorld in just a few hrs. When you go to Pleasure Pier, just park on the seawall near the pier. You may have to walk a few blocks but its better then paying for parking across the street.

Just curious, are they doing a locker on Gatekeeper. From the few photos of the station I saw, looked like no shelves or a place to put your crap. -
The news sounds good to me. Not that we didn't know it was coming. The restaurant intrigues me. As far as the tickets go. I like to see Universal just sell 2-Park tickets. Just find a good price and drop the single park tickets. They can make up the ticket prices with butterbeer sales. I mean if your going to the resort for vacation, your going to hit both parks. Then you would not have to worry about checking tickets or adding a ticket office for the train. I also wonder if they have a butterbeer idea for the new area.
