  1. Samsung A20, Chrome All of the video thumbnails show images.
  2. The wind up at CP rarely drops below those speeds. That should not be any issue at all for Raptor. It'll probably be fine for Gatekeeper, as well, especially if it's not too cold.
  3. Even on the third day of operation (Monday), Magnum, Gemini, and Steel Vengeance had signs out saying closed all day. Maverick was down but did come up la bit later. So much for starting my afternoon visit in the back of the park, lol.
  4. ^SFoT was doing chips last year as well, even on single purchase paper cups. This allowed for free refills at self-serve fountains. I doubt that free refills was their intention... Also, if anyone is looking for the cheapest Six Flags season pass, Mexico still offers one for less than 50 USD. It gets you into "Over Texas, Fiesta Texas, Over Georgia, White Water, Frontier City, Harbor Arlington, Harbor Splash Town, Harbor OKC, Mexico, and Hurricane Harbor Oaxtepec."
  5. I will be visiting Lagoon for the first time on Sunday (4/3). Would anyone local be interested in meeting up?
  6. Park strategies: Holiday World: Avoid Halloween at rope drop. Head to Voyage then Thunderbird, instead. Ask an employee if the back entrance to the waterpark will open right at 11. If yes, use that entrance to get a jump start on the water coasters. All will get very long lines. Wildebeest's takes longer to build up, despite having lower capacity. Coaster queues will be empty mid-afternoon. Kentucky Kingdom: Unlike most parks, work front to back. Rope drop Lightning Run, as this will end up having a 30 minute queue most of the day. Thunder run only has one train, so get there early, as well. I've never had to wait more than two trains for Storm Chaser, even on weekends. Enjoy! The waterpark will be slammed. This won't be that big of a deal IF all of the slides are open. Kings Island: FL+, 'nuff said Cedar Point: Fast lanes are not available during ERT. Head to Millennium right at the start of ERT to experience the wonders of the magic gate. Food/Drink: Kentucky Kingdom has a bourbon bar with very reasonably priced flights. If you try Skyline chili (and you should), do it outside of the park (KI). Be sure to let your server know that it's your first time having it. Head to Sonder Brewing, right in Mason, for some dessert beers. Melt in Cedar Point is a chain local to Lakewood (Cleveland area). It's still not the full menu but much improved in recent years. Sit at the bar for quicker service. I highly recommend Barra tacos in downtown Sandusky!
  7. I think the fact that I was able to purchase a BGW ticket for $48.50 on a Saturday in October may have something to do with it. In September of 2019, I paid $69.50. That's quite the discount they're offering this year!
  8. I completely agree! I think it's the (4) pops of airtime w/o any vests to hold you down. As for the staggered openings, during my 2019 visit, England, Scotland, and Ireland opened (with rides) an hour BEFORE posted park opening. Is that not happening at all this year? Are they letting anyone in the park before 10? My plan for Saturday is to stay ahead of the crowd (CCW) for rides in the morning, drink beer in the afternoon, and check out a few haunts in the evening.
  9. I can't seem to find confirmation on their website, but Stricker's Grove is typically open to the public on the Sunday of Columbus day weekend. The random ejector hill on Tornado would be well worth the mid-day break form KI. As for FLP...get it! You will not regret it on a Saturday. Hit Cavern of Terror right when it opens, as that line gets insane.
  10. I'll be heading down this weekend for my first ever visit and have a few questions: Do any rides open before posted opening, like they do at SFOG? How early should I plan to get to the park on Saturday? I know to head to La Vibora early. Any other suggestions to minimize wait times? We're hoping to get by w/o flash pass, but we'll cave if it's slammed. Where in the park would you recommend for lunch? Any table service options?

  12. Does anyone here know if Phoenix Phall Phunfest is happening this year? The webpage appears to have been taken down.
  13. It's sad to hear the caliber of employees has deteriorated so much. On my visits in previous years, Lightning Run was the only ride with poor operations. Everything else was reasonably efficient. While the employees were not always the most professional, they were usually quite friendly.
  14. It sounds like there is a feud going on between the owner and director of operations. This does not sound like good news. https://www.lehighvalleylive.com/news/2021/05/bushkill-park-manager-accused-of-fraud-in-civil-court-filing-the-owner-wants-him-out.html
