Six Flags really wants to have a park in Florida. Seriously, I can't see them doing it. I mean it would be dumb to have your company making a profit to go back to debt. ^ Saw this a few pages back

I like the updates that are rumored. I always felt the Discovery Center could use something. It was always sort of a place to go to get A/C or out of the rain. The mine ride could be cool. I don't see how it could be a large ride though. How much room are we talking about is left, even if they take out stuff?

I think it be cool if SFFT added another family style ride first. In fact I would love to see them get that Justice League Dark Ride. My main reason is because then I-rat line might be less. Then in like two years build a new coaster or move an existing coaster over to the park.

I've heard about Grand Texas Theme Park before. I thought it was supposed to be built in the Woodland area of Houston a few years ago. Very wishful thinking but how crazy would it be if we got Earthquest, Grand Texas and the Playland Park in Houston. I think these companies realized Houston is hungry for a theme park. In a few years, both airports in Houston are going to be International as well. Ugh, I'm just tired of reading about it and would like to see some bulldozers.

Sweet I rode the number 1 wooden coaster. Now it seems like I need to go take a Happy Valley tour. I also hope to get to ride Ravine Flyer II this summer. The most important part is Phoenix got some love.

I know this project has been talked about since Astroworld (RIP) closed down. Obviously with the Feds investigation on the old developers is not going to help matters. But I still believe Houston is ready for a new theme park (not including Kemah and Galveston Pier which are not theme parks but still fun). At least now its Contour Entertainment who is paying for it all. They probably see the very large market in Houston area equals profit. It be interesting to see what they come up with in a few months. I'm more excited for the small park being built in Texas City. Being that Texas City is maybe 20 minutes away from me. It's supposed to be the son of the original Playland Park in Houston building it. I mean its only going to be 25 acres but that is enough to build a coaster or two with a few other rides. Developers eye and buy land near Tanger

Another reason to go back. Not that I really needed more reason.

I know when I went back in October, it was just one side. It seems like Gwazi may be the next one on the chopping block for BGT. I mean if there cutting maintenance costs on it and only running one side. I really wish they at least ask RMC to take a look at it. Since RMC creations need very little maintenance and I still think it be cool to see what they can do with a duel coaster. But otherwise, I don't see a bright future for Gwazi.

But you ride a magic bench in Harry Potter. They could come up with something that would work for LOTR

I'm sure a certain dollar amount would allow them to build a Hobbit/Lord of the Rings world. I could see a whole theme park built on it. Plus with Disney buying up all other major licenses, you almost have to get it, just so Disney does not.

If anything, I think Gatekeeper will be very photogenic as clearly that last picture shows.

It will probably be Iron Rattler when it opens. Of course, i could sneak in a quick SFOT before then so it would be NTAG.

I say a lot of stuff on coasters. If I was to make a POV, it be full of commentary. Besides, who doesn't like "Twistys" or "weeee". My all time favorite is the commentary on Cheetah Hunt. "Wild mouse, wild cheetah, whats the difference" Keep doing what you do Robb. [youtube2] [/youtube2]

^thanks for the photo update of Iron Rattler. It's looking good. Looks like the park did a decent job with the Christmas lights.

When they announced Iron Rattler, they said it would be a two train operation. I also got a flyer from the park as well that said two trains. Yes the new trains look awesome from the pictures
