  1. For my backyard: I will take a S&S Mini Swing (which I probably have room for) And as far as coaster, I will just take a Intamin (If I had the room in my backyard, it be Skyrush)
  2. Great photos. I enjoyed the park when I went a few weeks ago.
  3. Back when Dueling Dragons actually dueled, I think both coasters would of got my vote for best inverted coaster. They still are great rides but I decided to go with Montu only because of my most recent few rides on it were fantastic.
  4. Finally...That SOB is gone. I kind of would not mind if instead of Vortex, they got rid of Flight Deck. Then they could redo the whole area with all new rides.
  5. Unpleasant Surprise: I will tell this one first because it will probably come as a shock to some but my unpleasant surprise was Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. I love the theming in the queue line. In fact, I loved all of Harry Potter land. However, I remember after my first ride how I felt getting off the ride and thinking I did not enjoy that as much as I thought I would. Pleasant Surprise : The most recent pleasant surprise for me was Grizzly at Kings Dominion. I remember it took us a few seconds to find the entrance and I did not have a clue about the rides layout. I remember walking up to the short line in the station and hearing the hilarious ride op on the mic (who alone made for a pleasant surprise). Yes the ride is short, with not much air time, but it was a fun woodie.
  6. I believe a hypercoaster could bring success to the park but I do not think it guarantees success. Yes, the coaster may draw in a few customers but not every customer is going to want to ride a hypercoaster. There are just so many factors when it comes to long term success. Just look at Disney.
  7. Well I sound like a broken record but I loved the interviews. I have a feeling Vekoma has something big coming soon. I don't know, just the way he was talking about 2013 being full. I really liked how each company allowed you to ask our questions this year at IAAPA. Anyways, thanks to everyone at TPR for the awesome coverage.
  8. This coaster is being overshadowed by the other woodies coming next year. However, after looking at these updates the coaster looks like it will be a winner.
  9. The interview with Intamin was great. When he talked about Skyrush, he had a lot to talk about on the restraints. Also, that be cool if Alan from RMC does show up to either SDC or Fiesta while TPR is there. Again, awesome videos.
  10. ^yes exactly, I bet Disney could use that to make your design car that you make in Test Track and sell it for like 30-50 bucks. What kid would not want there custom car to take home?
  11. I loved the GCI interview. Someone from TPR needs to date that guy so we can get insider information. Gravity Group's interview was on fire. I can't wait for the Intamin interview.
  12. Another great video. Thanks for more awesome interviews. I can't wait to see more.
  13. Awesome first video. I love the interviews. The S&S new stuff looks better on video. I like how excited Joel was for the new coaster at SDC. He seemed to be very thrilled that TPR will be there next year to ride it. I was kind of hoping RMC would at least reveal something like we are doing another iron horse overhaul next year. But overall, great video and I can't wait to see more.
  14. Alright I got it. This is what Kings Island should build with all the land there about to have. A dueling coaster built by Gravity Group with the high five track and inversions (now that we know they will do this) with timberliners. Come on CEDAR FAIR build that and call it SONS OF BEAST. You can even theme the timberliners trains to some sort of beast creature.
  15. WOW Gravity Group. I knew you had a few tricks up your sleeves this year, just by keeping up with your facebook but just WOW.
  16. YAY Intamin. Also outlaw run trains look very nice. I'm not shocked there is no seat belt since NTAG has none. Awesome coverage so far, its only the first few hours of IAAPA.
  17. Ahh, I get it now. That makes a lot more sense then what I was just originally thinking. I wonder if Disney has thought of a way they can make your designed car into a toy and sell it.
  18. I wonder, since its 6 people in a car, what will happen to groups of 2 or 3? Like how do they decide which of the group designs the car will use. Otherwise, I'm excited to see the changes. Even though, I always enjoyed the original Test Track.
  19. “Celebrate the Magic” sounds like it will be a great show. All the firework shows seem to sort of blend together but this one sounds like there really going to push the castle art which is really cool to see.
  20. They used it for Fright Fest, it was home to two of the haunted houses this year.
  21. Until tonight when one of the 7-1 teams win. Then you will be sharing the 8-1 best record in the NFL.
  22. ^ They already have a bigger version of that at the park.
  23. I also thought it may have something to do with insurance regulations and the past of Giant. Because, besides maybe some of the water rides, this is the only coaster at the park where there is a guy at the MCBR. It's surprising that Six Flags did not find a way around it when they changed the coaster. It could just be one of those things its cheaper to have the guy then to fight it or get sued later on.
