I was devastated when they took out Kingdom of the Dinosaurs at Knotts. And I still get bummed out when I walk past that empty building.

My favorite is Ghostrider. It sounds badass and fits perfectly with the Knotts theming.

Last week I drove from San Clemente (south OC) to Valencia in Friday rush hour traffic (crazy idea). I took a detour on the 57N/210W and it saved me tons of time. The 210W was beautiful, and I bypassed the worst parts of the 5 through LA. Not sure how this will help you, but it worked for me! Good luck and godspeed.

My friends and I stopped at Buffalo Bills to ride the Desperado on the way to Vegas last week. I have fond memories of that ride since its the first "big" coaster I ever rode.

Sorry you had such a bad time there...but it was definitely a blast to read! And I actually loved Hammerhead at Knotts (I hate its replacement, Riptide). I remember being so happy when I finally got the guts to go on it as a kid. I think I was 11. Those run-down pictures make me sad. EDIT: and I laughed hard at "Please let this only go around once....aaaaaand were going around more than once."

Not sure if this is exactly what you are looking for...but I thought it was cool when Knott's Berry Farm put the Beary-Tales characters back in a store in Ghost Town.

I'm super excited for this! The artwork looks fantastic and given the popularity of the Manta Ray touch-pools, I'm sure this coaster will be a huge hit! I've always been a huge fan of the San Diego zoos (San Diego Zoo, Animal Park, and Sea World). This is yet another excuse for me to visit.

I've been to Knott's on SuperBowl Sunday too and yes, it is the perfect time to go. I was able to go on so many rides, so quickly that I made myself sick. Good times.

Right now I'm playing through Eternal Sonata (Xbox360). I really enjoy the musical theme and the way the battles are both turn based and real time. Plus, the graphics are beautiful (especially the colors). These things more than make up for the often cheesy JRPG cutscenes and voice acting Also, I just preordered Marvel vs Capcom 3, which will arrive at my doorstep a week from today! Any game that lets me use Ryu, Spider-man, and Viewtiful Joe to take on Galactus is fine by me. Time to dust off the ol' fight sticks.

In Southern California, In-N-Out is king. I've been going there my entire life, and just barely found out that you can order a "Neopolitan" milkshake. So Good. Also, I think Chipotle comes in second.
