Did anyone sign up for the Disneyland Marathon Weekend events? WOW, they sell out fast! I wanted to register for the 10K, which went on sale at 9am today. I logged on at 1:30PM and it was all sold out! So I settled for the 5K, which I'm still happy with. It is my first race after all.

I'm heading to the Haunt this Sunday night, since I get Columbus Day off work. Has anyone been there the night before Columbus day? Does the holiday weekend affect the crowds much? I know most jobs/schools don't give Columbus Day off. I mainly want to know if Fright Lane is worth it.

I humbly request some advice... I want to visit the park this September. I'm looking at Sunday, Sept 4 (labor day weekend) or Sunday, Sept 11. What should I expect crowd-wise? I've never been in September (or a holiday weekend). Thank you, kind people.

I love dark rides! I grew up in Southern California, so obviously my childhood was filled with great Disney dark rides. I remember having my mind blown when first riding Indiana Jones as a kid. To this day its my all time favorite dark ride. Also, I was devastated when Knotts removed the Kingdom of the DInosaurs. Such a shame, especially since the building is just sitting there with nothing good in it. My top list: 1. Indiana Jones and the Temple of the Forbidden Eye 2. Tower of Terror (I count it, even if it is a dark/drop hybrid) 3. Haunted Mansion 3. Mr Toad's WIld Ride (DisneyLAND FTW) 4. Kingdom of the Dinosaurs
