Wow this looks like one of the better things b&m has built in awhile. What a beautiful and we'll designed coaster! anyone else notice that the track looks a little different than most b&m coasters? -

I think the trick to the b&m stand ups are to put your feet all the way back and lock them, and have the restraint pulled down far enough that your head is above it. Then there is no headbanging and all the g forces are on your bones instead of your muscles. That's how I rode apocalypse and found it very enjoyable.. -

Where do people get the idea that Alpengeist is forceless? I grayed out by the cobra roll on every ride during my last visit. Alpengeist is the perfect example of how a plus size invert should be- a mixture and balance of graceful maneuvers as well as quick forceful elements. -

Total opposite on my visit, kraken was incredibly smooth and rerideable. You may have just gotten a bad row and/or been sitting in an edge seat. Both incredible coasters though. Hulk beats kraken by a slim margin for me though.. -

I love PTC trains so I cant say im disappointed. I do agree that they should look into topper track! In fact it probably would run well even if they kept PTCs with the topper track, they ride really well on the topper track on cyclone at sfne.. -

I was just at the park the other day and I got to ride both wildcat and boulder dash multiple times. Wildcat was amazing on the retracked area, first drop is suprisingly good now. Otherwise it was HORRIBLY rough. The have really let boulder dash get rough as well. It was strange because we rode in the middle of the train, in the back row of the 3rd car, and it was unbearably rough.. probably the roughest coaster I have ever ridden. But after that we only rode in the back car front row, and every ride was incredibly fast paced and smooth! I warn you though, those wheel seats are cursed this year. The very back row was ok, but any wheel seat in the middle of the train was simply unbearable. -

Well I timed the launch with a stopwatch on the pov of ttd and after 4 seconds it was halfway up the tower, while on kk it was just pulling up. Edit- Top thrill dragster took 3.82 seconds from the start of the beginning of the launch to the end of the catch car track. Kingda ka took 5.04 seconds. -

What happened to the classic intamin t-bar? I don't understand how intamin made such a perfect restraint, and just stopped using it in favor of over shoulder cylinders with straps, and the leg choppers on skyrush.. Honesly even the otsrs would have been a step up from what it has now. -

I was at sfa riding superman and I asked the person checking the restraint not to press it down (had it up like 3 inches above my thighs) and she asked the other guy and he was like "it's fine we had a guy do that all morning" and she didn't even touch my restraint before we dispatched. That was a great ride.. -

Is it just me or is millennium force running really fast in that video? Those hills look like they definitely have more than floater, the train even clears the largest hill faster than any b&m.. And I don't remember it whipping around that final overbank like that. -
