Does anyone know if any coasters will be closed this Friday?

1. Hydra 2. Dominator 3. Kraken 4. Bizarro 5. Batman Hydra just beause it is so unique, dominator for its consistently forceful and unique layout, both in the first and second half of hte layout. Kraken is just plain cool as far as theming goes, and has a great layout to back it up.

Trust me, the abyss exists.. I couldn't forget such an unexpectedly awesome waterslide if I tried!

How do you think bullet coasters launch compares to a traditional S&S launched coaster (hypersonic xlc)? Or to a hydraulic launch?

I find it interesting how all of the wing rider drops seem to have slightly different shaping. Gatekeepers certainly looks the most fluid of any so far.

S:ROS Sfne looks pretty danm tiny from an airplane.. in fact so does the entire park.

I love the awesome hangtime on volcano. In fact barrel role are probably my favorite element for their hang time. I also love the hang time I get on deja vu, very unique!

Hmmm.... When I was a kid, it was very tough to find size thirteen shoes, now it's not an issue. We are taller and our frames are larger as well. It's not just a weight thing. My chesct makes it very difficult to ride a B&M like Wildfire with it's OTSR with latchbelts. I meant more with lap bars.. *cough* bizarro sfne *cough*

I sure wish there were more people like you! The more they accommodate to a larger population the less comfortable the rides get for those of us who are staying in shape. Major props for taking the initiative and pursuing that goal! Very impressed! Keep it up!

I expected this ride to look really tacky with all the crazy elements, but its really coming off as high quality and well made. They managed to make every element on this thing look like a work of art. And seamlessly blended them together.

Yeah I was impressed with how fast boulderdash was running like a month ago. Must be the cold.

I dont find cyclone to be in rough condition as it is. I found wildcat at hp to be much rougher and less interesting. However i wouldnt complain if this was the next candidate.

I just got back from PA and I wanted to say that i rode skyrush and while it is not as good as i305 it was still incredible. They are two rides that I expected to be very similar, but are completely different. Some quick notes; the restraints are terrible. My legs were nearly numb every time by the end. The bottom of the restraint is shaped to your legs, yet its angled upwards so that beautifull ergonomic shape goes completely to waste. Any chance they will fix this? And the airtime wasnt to bad, in fact, it was incredible, but the lats really killed some parts of the ride because of how you had no support and all the weight when straight into the restraint. I found myself unable to ride with my hands up because i simply couldnt support myself on transitions. Also, why is the far turn so incredibly rough? The wing seats were especially. My first ride I could not believe how violent that turn was. In fact, I honestly hated it the first time I rode it because I already had a mild headache and I rode in a wing seat in the second to back row. The rest of the ride was complely glass smooth.. go figure. Anyways overall a great ride, but Intimidator has a better drop (im not sure how much I like the way skyrush jerks down suddenly and instantly comes out), more enjoyable and numerous airtime (9 moments vs 5), Better more supportive restraints (for now), and I simply prefer the out of controll forces and direction changes on intimidator. These opinions are very subject to change though because the restraints really made the ride less enjoyable. As far as the rest of the park, fahrenheit was much better than I remember; i loved the random airtime pops and the the intensiy of the Norwegian loop. Much less rattly than before except in the cobra roll. Storm runner is still my favorite ride in the park, despite the fact that they toned down the speed a bit since 2 years ago. The launch is still one of my faves, and the flying snake dive is the longest my butt has ever beeen off the seat on any coaster. From the time you enter the hill to the pullout there was airtime! So genius. I overall had a great experience at the park (great operations believe it or not) and cant wait to ride the hopefully improved skyrush next year!

Excuse the double post but I instead am going tomorrow and Friday so should I expect awful crowds?

As far as Intimidator having no airtime compared to skyrush; while skyrush has about 5 moments of somewhat sustained airtime, intimidator 305 has 9 so I dont think its fair to label one as an airtime machine and not the other.

The removal of that building completely changes the athmosphere of that area.

Who else would love to see blue track on this!?

How about next monday and tuesday? Or next thursday/friday? Should I expect terrible crowds?
