Does anyone else feel that Green lantern is really ugly? The yellow loop, the lift out in the middle of the parking lot. It just looks like its piled right on top of/in front of the rest of the park behind, and is trying to be center stage but failing miserably..

I must have ridden a different ride because the immelman on storm runner was the most forceful one I had ever ridden. I greyed out! I also like the querky dive out of the immelman; very steep and gives a great speed sensation. But for the launch, i totally agree! The only other coaster with such forceful launch Ive been on was Hypersonic XLC.

Thanks again! I'm happy about the crowds. In my opinion, even without the lines considered, a less crowded park is just better. Its more low key and less stressful to feel like you have the park to yourself. I always see parks as more true to what they are when its less crowded. So yeah this should be an awesome trip! I can't wait to see how sky rush compares to i305.

Honestly I couldn't care less about wildcat. But boulder dash! I rode it Friday and got multiple rides on it and damn is it running fast this year! In all the 5 years I have ridden this coaster I never felt it run so fast as it did. Not even during nightime ert! The triple up almost hurt, and there was ejector even at the top in the back row. In fact, every hill had ejector to the point if my thighs being bruised after 6 rides. It seemed to have a faster lift and new wheels, so I really hope those repairs don't change how its running.

Thanks for all the tips! I was thinking Monday/Tuesay would be better. I'm mostly concerned with how long the lines will be for storm runner and skyrush.

Im planning on going either the 27-28 or the 30-31. So either a mon/tues or thurs/fri. So the question is what would be the best time to go? What kind of crowds can i expect? Also, any recommendations on hotels and food? Any advice is appreciated!

Oops i forgot to mention boulder dash. Running insane this year! They sped up the lift and chnged the wheels or something but it is hauling a$$. Ejector airtime on every hill!

I wasnt that impressed with el toro or bizarro (far better as superman). I prefer storm runner and I305 by a ton! New Texas Giant was great too.

Having ridden both i found mavericks restraints infinitely more painful on my thighs and neck. I had to focus so much on riding defensively that i wasnt able to enjoy the ride. Intimidator i was able to ragdoll and had no pain whatsoever.

Very impressive trip report! I Completely agree about hurler and shockwave. They are not that bad. Hurler especially. I think that kd is just a perfectly well rounded park, and with I305 to top it off, id say it competes with CP as my favorite park.

Cyclone at SFNE is not even rough at all! In fact I find it to be a great coaster. Especially now with the new topper track I'd say as a whole it is smoother than boulder dash.

Yeah El toro is fun during the day but nightime is really when it reveals itself. Its still no Intimidator or Storm Runner as far as intensity goes but its a great all around coaster.

It is really freaky the way the tower sways every time superman is up there. Being at the top with that must be intense!

Well unfortunately i learned from bizarro that thicker is not at all better so im skeptical..

I also think the topper track made it much faster for the rest of thr ride. Theres this one hill near the end where transition right at the top and get airtime and lats going from one side of the seat to the other and kts pretty insane. Again, this would be great if hey stopped the trims.

^^I find cyclone to be very underrated. I would choose it over goliath in a heartbeat. The topper track really helps too. The roughest part of the ride is now the most gracefull. If they just stopped triming the end so much then I would rate it alot higher.

Are you kidding? Its one of my faves only behind talon and batman clones simply because of the sheer speed and forcefullness. The cobra roll always catches me off gaurd.

When i rode alpengeist last year it was smooth as glass..

Cant wait to see what these adjustments are. I would hope they either angle them differently or adjust them so they dont fall on top of your thighs.

Volcano at kd i rode in the pouring rain multiple times. The water on the top of the train builds up around the turn and you get drenched when it launches.
