Small Update http://losangeles.cbslocal.com/2012/02/19/caught-on-tape-belligerent-man-repeatedly-pepper-sprayed-during-wild-fight-at-disneyland/ What surprises me is that he looks like a Keystone Light type of guy. How could he get that stupid on alcohol with Disney prices without spending a great deal of money? Apparent Mugshot:

I did not want to hijack the thread to a focus on ACE and apologize for that. I also did not want to create whole thread around their requirements. However, this has been very interesting to find out some of the requirements. This explains why Racer at Kennywood is not one, since it has seat dividers (as Larrygator pointed out for requirements). I am curious on what ACE considers seat belts though. The last time I went to Kennywood I thought the park added these to the trains for Jack Rabbit during a refurbishment a few years back. I believe the ACE classic status is still there for that coaster. I could be completely wrong on that though, maybe I should just look it up on their site.

And how does someone loose a status? Does it start off tight and then gradually get looser??? Good one. Typing fast and missed that. Thanks for catching it Jeff Anyways, my post was not saying I "hope they do not loss it". I am just curious on what would cause this if it happened in general. I believe Blue Streak at CP went through this. Again, just curious here.

^ I do like how they make small, but noticeable improvements each year. The new train will defiantly be a bonus. Any word on the new food pavilion they where planning on creating from the old Merry Go Round building? They had this on their blog a few years back and have not seen an update in awhile on it. -
Who killed Geauga Lake?

If anything, they overpaid and lost money on the deal. They are still paying taxes on the land and even to attractions they moved \ sold I do not believe have a net worth of half the price (with depreciation and move costs). Also, not to mention the bad press for how it was handled. I think CF wanted to make GL the equivalent of what Idlewild is to Kennywood. They failed though when their attention went to the Paramount purchase. -

Looks like the PR stunt worked for a few folks. Even if this where to happen, I do not think the park would be publicizing it. -
We did ours in port prior to leaving. I remember this because the people at the bar across from port where pointing and laughing at everyone on board. I always thought that it was required when we did it to leave, this way they could still boot anyone who refused. That is just cray that they have 24 hours though. Even though it may have not mentioned much of a difference as Sharktums pointed out in the instance. It just seems like a ship could get pretty far out in a 24 hour period.

Isn't it illegal to skip the muster drill? I know when I took my cruise a few years back they where hard set on everyone attending. Is this just a US thing and just recommended elsewhere (Since I left a US port) or just another long line of screw ups on this ship? Why would they not cover such a simple exercise that is yet so important for people?

Meramec Caverns in Missouri was pretty neat (If you and you family are not claustrophobic). What part of Texas and Arizona are you planning on going through? There are many neat Route 66 things to see along the way there that do not take much time each. http://www.americascave.com/ (I believe you can park the camper there for the night also).

^ I think it is the reaction (or non-reaction in the case) of Senior Mgmt (CEO) that is a major problem here. I think it would be different if the 3 things in this article where done. http://www.forbes.com/sites/carminegallo/2012/01/18/3-things-carnival-must-do-now-to-manage-the-costa-crisis/?partner=yahootix

That is where paddlewheel loaded. Egg on my face. Thanks for the correction. I for some reason always think I went on this from behind Jr Gemini. -

Yes, it has been there for awhile, here is some video of it. It is on the main midway as you would turn in for MaxAir from the main entrance. I believe this may have been the Fascination Game building prior (not sure though on that one) -

I am surprised they are crossing the island from right behind Dragster for the Dino thingy. I figured they would re-utilize Paddlewheel's loading area. Also, if the map is correct. Then Mat Racer appears to be an Octopus Racer. -

^ I never thought of that, but it would make much sense. That small bridge is a pain when it is busy. -

Looks like a few small updates to the water park are happening this year. Maybe some sort of tunnel for the lazy river. I am not sure what else that could be. http://waldameer.blogspot.com/
