  1. Outside chance this could be it....But there is already car themed trains on Verboten so I can't see that being it. That being said, "Le Scoot" and "Le Mann's" have been teased, leaving me to believe that the new ride will have the word "Le" in front of it. Leetaka
  2. CP's RMC has garbage reliability. I don't think I've ever seen it actually take riders.
  3. Thought about it for like 8 seconds until I remembered that math is from the devil and I wanted nothing to do with it after finishing school.
  4. I vividly remember the last time that the state of a roller coaster's paint job- no matter how awful- had any influence whatsoever as to how my day at the park was going. The summer of Eleventy Never.
  5. Hate is not a strong enough word to describe my feelings towards GM for killing off my favorite car brand/manufacturer.
  6. Yeah, if I kept a top 10 list of the best coasters I've ever ridden, the Raptor concept would easily place in my top 5.
  7. Three other potential sites (originally posted to Google Images)
  8. It's got to be body type, because I just don't know what else it could be. I'm 5'10" 160 - A B&M Standup in the lineup makes the park a must-visit. They're designs from the days before B&M began mixing Vagisil into the ink they print their blueprints with, second only to their Inverts. Re: Groin-busting (someone mentioned earlier) - It's not so much a technique- just common sense- that solves this problem while you're getting into position before restraints lock.
  9. I completely agree with this. It has nearly the perfect layout for a looper and the butterfly loop is so disorienting. I would love to see more of those on coasters. I honestly don't find Ninja rough at all anymore and think it is extremely underrated. It isn't smooth, but it doesn't really hurt with the Arrow trains in my opinion. When did you last ride it? Truth. Ninja is great stuff.
  10. I wish I could trade you the one here for it so you could have two, then.
  11. I wish I could trade you the one here for it so you could have two, then.
  12. Yeah, my post was a poorly made attempt at jokingly pointing out to SFGADv people that it could have been much worse, their park's Arrow Megalooper could have been removed for the scrap metal, and terrible waste of red, yellow and blue paint (Superman Ultimate Fluff) that Shockwave- my home park's Arrow Megalooper- was removed in favor of, knowing full well/sympathizing with them that they in fact already had one of those operating on the plot of land next to GASM since 2003. I would have been thrilled with Chang/Green Lantern instead of Superman Ultimate Fail.
  13. S:UF was built in 2003 on the lot next to GASM... Sorry, wrong park. I'm thinking of the Six Flags Arrow Megalooper in Chicago that was replaced with secondhand trash.
  14. Interesting credit questions arise (for those who do that) since this one is continuously re-locating.
  15. Trying not to mix favorites/best rides with what I think are best layouts. Sometimes they are mutually exclusive. Of the taller non-loopers, Superman Ride of Steel (NE), Raging Bull, Expedition GeForce have what I think are the best/most interesting layouts. I've not ridden Expedition GeForce. I think Batman The Ride is just about perfect, at least in terms of inverted coaster layouts. Similarly, it's hard to argue against Kumba or Dragon Khan. Incidentally, Batman and Kumba are my favorites of their type, but I haven't ridden Dragon Khan.
  16. The Hollow is one of my favorite places at a park.
  17. Typical Six Flags gimmick- just like with Freeze and the Namtab Tour. They missed out on a big marketing opportunity there.
  18. Loving the pre-lift. Thanks for the photos! Aren't those bolts going to make for quite the bumpy ride? heh
  19. It's too hard to tell from one image, but I hope that's not the case. That snap is the difference between a good element and one that's just kind of there. Jack and Coke vs. a glass of lukewarm water.
  20. Nope. Chinese knock off. I'll just casually retract what I said earlier about wanting a US Park to get in on that.
  21. Trying to decipher what is happening in these images with absolutely no luck. Wouldn't mind a US park adding a few of whatever the hell these are.
  22. SF totally played this wrong. If they had only waited 2 years to do this to Total Mayhem, they could have added on-board audio, fire, placed a few cardboard cutouts of Joker throughout the queue area, mist, re-painted and then re-named it; boom- New for 2018: The Joker 4D Free Fly Coaster. Odds are there would even be a Justice League dark ride somewhere in the vicinity by 2018 to go with it.
  23. With a ride like Corkscrew, it wouldn't surprise me if they replaced it with a modern design of some sort that incorporates it's own pair of corkscrew inversions over the midway into it's layout, sooner rather than later. It's very easy to see an Intamin looper (let's for a moment suspend the whole CP/CF will never buy Intamin again cackling- even if there is anything to it, things change as the world turns) with eleventy-some inversions (whatever the current inversion record may be at that time), and with the aforementioned pair of corkscrews over the midway as a nod to the past. They modernize, while also grabbing a record and retaining really the only iconic thing about Corkscrew. That, or they just do this:
