Just saw on this forum that the TDR will be subjected to rolling blackouts over the next couple weeks (at least). Here is news confirmation on the citywide blackouts scheduled for Tokyo.

The entire Tokyo Disney Resort is closed until the 21st. Here's a another video of the crowd when the earthquake started. They get startled a bit at the beginning but nobody scatters as they all just calmly sit until the message comes on. And here's a video after the quake on the TDR Monorail leaving from Tokyo Disney Sea Station and practically doing a full circuit. You can see some minor flooding at 3:26 and from there you can see some shots of the parking lots after the water receded.

My goodness! This is insane! I'm watching CNN right now and Miyagi Prefecture is getting obliterated with water! And I can't imagine how insanely chaotic Tokyo is right now with public transportation disrupted.

^I'm not sure about Pigeon Forge, TN during that time of year but Virginia is still pretty hot and humid in late August though it's not as bad as the earlier part of the month.

This is a hilarious video! This woman is absolutely terrified riding the gondola lift "Metrocable" in Medellín, Colombia. And it doesn't help that her family is purposely trying to freak her out! And it gets really good from 3:55 in the vid til the end! *Warning - She screams mad obscenities in Spanish!

Totally agree with you on this. However I do find it ironic that non-gaming revenue (shows, rides, attractions, restaurants, etc) brings in more money now than gaming revenue.

I lived there and visit each year. Trust me, there is PLENTY of land to build an amusement park! Last I checked, most of City Center was open. That's a bit exaggerated! I wouldn't dare use the word "excellent" to describe any of those coasters especially the NYNY Coaster!

^In the wild, cheetahs usually need at least an hour or more to rest after hunting prey but this exhibit will be much smaller and the runs much shorter. With the number of cheetahs they are getting it is possible that guests will be able to view them do these runs every hour during the daytime. It'll be similar to something like this at the Cincy Zoo.

^Another Sky Wheel proposal for Vegas? That concept seems doomed since the Voyager Wheel was killed.
