Seriously!!!! When I saw the 65-43 score on the ESPN-2 ticker I thought it was a basketball score. But I then realized that the NCAA hoops teams just had their first midnight practices last night! LOL Seeing a combined 108 points in a football game is just insane!

^Halloween is the second most profitable holiday after Christmas. Besides, just because the economy is bad doesn't necessarily mean people are gonna stay home and save money. BGW also has an advantage being situated in a recession-proof metropolitan area with all the military and government jobs nearby and with DC being a few hours away.

This isn't news. This has been going on every Saturday during Howl-O-Scream for several years now. Ride Apollo's Chariot around 4 p.m. and sit on the left side of the train and look down at the parking lot entrance while you're going up the lift. You'll see a gridlock of cars sequestered endlessly all the way up the entrance ramp.

I'm not feeling the name at all. It's very bland whereas the other big coasters in the park have a uniqueness with their names and interesting stories behind them. That said, the coaster looks great and I can't wait to ride it next year!

Is Six Flags investing money into the proposed parks for Dubailand and Nigeria? I thought they were doing strategic partnerships with companies/agencies that would be funding the projects.

Interesting. This diagram shows two loading platforms with 8 rows each but they are segmented off by fours so it looks like the ride will have 4-car trains. There's also a "blockbrake" marking on the section before Rhino Rally.

^^I fly out of Norfolk and while I have seen some price increases for SWA I'm still able to get good rates through their weekly sales or DING Fare specials. I do however miss the prices when they started servicing ORF eight years ago. I use to get nonstop roundtrip flights to Orlando for only $95 (tax and fees included). Now according to this Q&A they plan on doing away with AirTran's checked baggage fees but they also plan the same with assigned seating. I guess another positive you can look at is SWA will not keep the $75 cancellation fee that AirTran has.

^Very interesting news. Southwest Airlines has always avoided servicing ATL because they didn't want that airport to bring down their on-time ratings for arrivals and departures. However their presence there would drive down prices some which would be good for air travelers.

^Nice aerial shots! Prices aren't too bad either. AED 225 = $61.25 USD AED 165 = $45 USD AED 375 = $102 USD AED 270 = $73.50 USD I'd definitely do the Premium for AED 375.
