Not gonna lie. I agree with you. Lightning Run will probably be the sleeper hit of 2014. It's got everything that I love in a good ride: lots of airtime, sharp twists and turns, and great pacing. This might be a stretch, but I wouldn't be surprised if Lightning Run actually cracks some enthusiasts top 10 lists. I'm thinking along the same lines here, but we'll definitely have to wait and see. The next few years for this park will be very interesting.

As long as it makes the final product better, I have no problem waiting.

Other than Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom, I definitely enjoyed Bugs’ White Water Rapids at Fiesta Texas. Stupid dragon, lol.

If Phoenix with the 72 foot drop counts, then there is no competition.

I look fairly disinterested in that first pic, lol. Nonetheless, this was one of the better wooden coasters of the Texas/Midwest trip. Great pics again Hanno.

This is long overdue. Everything is just way to dated in there. Looking forward to seeing the improvements.

Gatekeeper looks spectacular, but that's about it. X-Flight is only slightly better. They aren't bad coasters by any means, but they don't do much either.

It's one of the nicest looking parks in the chain for sure. It's just such a unique setting.
