  1. ^You may be able to polish a turd, but it's still a turd nonetheless. The idea is to get rid of that turd completely. Can Carnival do that?
  2. TTD is definitely better than Kingda Ka. They are both one trick ponies but it's definitely a really good trick.
  3. Great idea for a thread! Looking forward to seeing more!
  4. Wow, I've never seen that one! That would be 50 million dollars easy to build that today. I can't see any park going for that.
  5. Pfft...that looks like an ordinary winter day up here. As for me, riding Sky Rocket at Kennywood in 2011, in what could only be described as a monsoon.
  6. I actually had to check again to make sure it said Carnival. It actually sounds pretty good.
  7. ^Definitely agreed. As long as capacity doesn't become an issue.
  8. Kick the Sky! 8/10
  9. Some people only need 20 seconds.
  10. ^That's Chinese water. I'd probably wear a poncho too.
  11. Commotion
  12. I will get to Japan eventually!
  13. Log Flumes are always fun!
  14. Nice pics Hanno. GCI coasters are generally pretty fun.
  15. The Texas/Midwest was about 2600 bucks, and I had a voucher which gave me my flight essentially free. So adding the extra money I spent during the trip it would have been about 3200 bucks or so.
  16. If your looking to fly in and out of major airports, Pittsburgh would probably make the most sense as Kennywood is right outside the city. The three parks you picked make the most sense based on what your looking for. You could add Dorney simply because it's relatively close to Hershey. Waldameer is a nice park too, but it seems more out of your way. The way I see it you could fly into Pittsburgh and fly out of Philly if you want to keep to the major airports.
  17. Intamin rides are just so frustrating sometimes. Great pics.
  18. The ones that came to my mind are Flight Deck and Kings Island and Batwing at Six Flags America. It's a trek just to get to them. Especially with Batwing when its like 110 degrees out and there is no shade. Brutal!
  19. Lol, what Larry said. I also don't like coasters that require me to make an appointment with my chiropractor after riding. In general though, I'm to too fond of stand-up coasters.
  20. Europa Park is very high on my bucket list. Great photos!
  21. Mt Olympus and Six Flags America are easily the worst I've experienced. Cedar Point is also frustrating because their ops are generally great, until it you get one drop of rain and everything shuts down.
  22. The Fast Lane Plus is definitely worth it for at least one day. Dragster goes down alot so you'll want the option to not have to wait in line for two hours to have it go down.
  23. If it had to fit in my backyard, I might actually go with Kozmos Kurves. Best kiddie coaster ever!
  24. T1. Millennium Force T1. Maverick 3. Top Thrill Dragster 4. Raptor 5. Blue Streak
  25. I believe I've only ridden 2. SDL was the first and Whizzer was the other.
