  1. ^Or even rides like Galaxy Orbiter in Edmonton, or all the ones in the Middle East that are built into other shopping malls-they really went out of their way to get another rides crammed into those spaces, regardless what they had to work with.
  2. ^^Well DUH! I put down a custom Megalite that sticks to the terrain mostly, and now I don't know if I should've put that or a Blitz-but I did rate number of inversions at 7... But Holiday World will surely pick something awesome with or without our help!
  3. Just an echo on the heat in Missouri-100 is a NORMAL temperature in July-drink lots and lots of water. It's no fun to get heat exhaustion in a park. 108 and gunky humidity levels are nothing outlandish to experience in Missouri...prepare accordingly.
  4. 1. Figure it out yourself...it shouldn't take long. 2. =death or as close as you can get while still living. 3. What's not to love about 'em? 4. =Fattie Fan Club of America/Gravy Buffet Enthusiasts. 5. See answer to question 2. 6. shitting donkeys; Icebat (and don't look into Dave-don't say I didn't warn you...) rings; lockers; xD; aquatrax; & various and sundry types of popcorn found in Tokyo DisneySea. You might be able to figure them out for yourself-these are essential! You're welcome EDIT: 'I like boys in small tights' has left us forever!
  5. Falling face first into pavement. What's worse than going over Niagara Falls in a barrel?
  6. ^The B&M invert was in the very first post.
  7. Ah-thank you. I just read you were doing this with the SFO, so that answered the language question itself. I thought you were perhaps doing an adapted version before.
  8. ^Why'd you cut those 10 minutes out? Well, I guess that'd depend on the scene...some could really be cut. Are these productions in English? I think the quote from Rossini says it all: "Wagner has wonderful moments, and dreadful quarters of an hour"
  9. ^That is disturbing. In the first bit with the nightmare on to the first appearance of a cat on the table it was really reminding me of The Secret of NIMH...and then they cut the head and the brains boiled and......I'm scarred for life, and the back of my head hurts now. And when they did the autopsy...that was WEIRD. That was probably the most effective scary movie I've seen...probably the juxtaposition of the animated aspect that's supposed to remind us of all the movies we watched when we were little and a cat being cut open with blood pouring out. :shudder: You did that to me!!
  10. I watched it the other night and expected the worst-to which I was disappointed. It had some things going for it (actor who portrayed doctor) but it seemed really low key-I know in the second one they're expanding on the gore but as it stands it was somewhat boring. I liked it though. But why are they resurrecting Jenny?
  11. I might pull out an Intamin....or finish a custom supported one created forever ago.
  12. Friday marks 2.5 years with my boyfriend! Hooray good news! Great! I would say happy anniversary, but that's only for years.
  13. Variations on Carnival of Venice-Arban, played by Maurice Andre.
  14. Knowing that the fat man's farts could significantly increase the cabin pressure, ripping the plane apart. What's worse than finding a dumpster full of diapers?
  15. Auto BergBahn, Wiener Prater...The picture's here: Clicky No real need to wait for the green light...
  16. 3.25 pairs...so 6 boobs...and a half boob?
  17. I'll bite. 1. Male. 2. 15. 3. When I was about 4...possibly 3. 4. Probably 10 or 11. 5. So often is it nearly impossible to count. Say: practically always. 6. Case sensitive. I'd buy DVDs to have physical copies of the POVs, so that they will work when the internet won't. But I'd buy a shirt just to wear (not really just to parks). 7. 4-I never have the opportunity to go more often, and it's mostly because my parents are always busy during spring/summer/fall when any park near me would even consider opening. They own an agriculture business... 8. Not only are they great to look at (some would say sexy, myself included), but they're great fun! Unless the ride experience is unbearably poor, due to roughness, design, comfort, etc. etc. 9. It's not extremely hard to go long periods of time without riding, thanks to TPR, I can live vicariously. 10. Somewhat... 11. What a strange question. DUH! haha 12. Nolimits if it must be constrained to coaster related stuff. Music can really pump out the same level-if not more adrenaline than a coaster for me. No, I am not crazy. But it must be rather deep, emotional, striking, or be able to connect on a personal level-e.g. It nearly HAS to be of the mid/late romantic period of a composer proficient at being able to translate their feelings directly to the score. 13. Not really. A ride can be extremely satisfying at any length. Some coasters can do with 3000' (or less) that others couldn't do with 6000'. And vise-versa. 14. I'm not certain what's being asked...If it means what I think it does, then no, TPR chat doesn't make me relive a coaster high-it creates its own. If you've ever been on it, then you know it is something else. And not lightheartedly either-most of the time it's not related to or barely related to theme parks. 15. See answer to question 5. 16. Sort of... but not really-sometimes it works and others it doesn't. I seek it, but very few can bring something reminiscent of them back. I'd say no.
  18. The only thing that I would say is an add-on is the terraformer, and it comes with the program.
  19. ^It's already been answered correctly...36. 45 Boomerangs manufactured minus the 9 operating Mack Wild Mouses.
  20. Yes-go ahead. It's now your turn. 69 is a good number-it's just not the right number for this situation. 42 is closer-but no cigar R.D. EDIT: I don't know what I just did there-I must've been thinking about Hanno's answer!
  21. Maybe they could advertise it as having inversions, the GP can barely tell the difference anyway kidding! Call that first right hand turn off the drop a horizontal loop; the little twisty hills we'll call 'em corkscrews. Somebody wouldn't know better-
  22. To be perfectly honest I'd rather have not gone to the Caribbean-But my travel plans must adhere to my parents, and unfortunately they don't want to go to Europe and are too busy during the summer to go to a seasonal vacation place. We always go to tropical places in winter...
  23. 1. 38 2. 29 (30 including Parc Asterix's for 2012) 3. 1.31034483 (38/29) if it's only for the operating ones, 1.42424242 (47/33) if going by all locations. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ EDIT: Just got word I solved it correctly, so here's mine. What is the total number of Vekoma standard Boomerangs produced, minus the number of Mack Wild Mouses (same model as the one, previously two at Bobbejaanland) currently operating?
  24. Preparing an acceptance speech and giving it in front of a full audience-only to find out you didn't get the award. What's worse than typing a big ass comment for a forum, and then your computer randomly crashes before you have a chance to save it?
  25. Only on the first few when the wheels weren't spring loaded, and to keep the wheels in constant contact, they made the drop 87-88.8 degrees. On Sheikra to present however, the full 90 is achieved because of a redesign of the chassis that allowed spring loaded wheels.
