  1. They normally have special events for a new ride opening, and they usually don't have q-bots for those. But Im not sure about normal opening day.
  2. I might go, but last year, Sky Screamer first opened on a school day, so I had to come later in the day when the lines still pretty long, and considering that this ride looks like it can only hold 12 people at a time, I might just wait until the following weekend and be the first in line!
  3. I would recommend a call to the scrap yard for kong! For the other rides, I usually head to Sky screamer and then to Big spin first, the rest doesn't really matter what order you ride.
  4. Really? I don't remember the scare zones being that crowded at all. Then again, I only remember one, which was in the front of the park, but it seem like there will be more of theme this year, which means even less crowds. And are you really complaining about screaming, at a HALLOWEEN EVENT? Getting scared is the whole point of these events, its part of the fun! I think this also goes with the whole "you don't know who's a zombie or not" thing too.
  5. I think the most there will be is an empty Zonga pad at that time. I seems like they usually start the real construction in around February
  6. So, there are 5 other coasters still operational, but two of them are family/ kiddy coasters, and another two are a boomerang and a SLC, so there is only one coaster that is REALLY worth riding. In the list of rides that might have long waits. I would add cobra on that list, not only are two major thrill rides closed, but there is also a major family ride leaving, so I would imagine the crowd that Big spin would of had moving to cobra. When isn't Voodoo a walk on?
  7. Here's my list- Pandemonium- SFDK Sky Screamer- SFDK The train ride at Thomas town- SFDK Apocalypse- SFMM Sierra Sidewinder- KBF Tiki Twirl- CGA Bombora- Lagoon Mega Wedgie, Wipeout, and Surf rider at SFGA GL and RRE- SFMM (Hopefully) Im not sure but I THINK I went on the water play structure at CGA when it opened, but im not sure. I rode X when it became X2 in 2008 if that counts, and this isn't the debut season, but when I went to SFGAdv in 2010, it was gasm's last 2 days of operation.
  8. Pretty much anything that has to do with PAX! http://www.mir-pax.ru/en/attraction/index.php
  9. Awesome TR! I would love to head to so-cal and check out Haunt and HHN!
  10. Mine has change quite a bit here my top ten ( In no order) 1.Disneyland 2.lagoon 3.Adventureland 4.Six Flags Discovery kingdom 5.Cedar Point 6.Valleyfair! 7.Enchanted Forrest 8.Nick Universe 9.Legoland Ca 10.Santa Cruz Beach Board Walk
  11. Theres only one park I know I will be going to next year, and thats SFDK Likely- GCA SCBBW Water World CA Sun Splash Raging Waters SFMM KBF DL and DCA Possibly- KI CP KW Waldameer CWL or La Ronde Great Escape SFNE LC SFGAdv SFA The "or" is separating 2 possible trips
  12. Agreed, it's fun to take trip to CGA now and then, but when it comes down to it, Flight Deck and Drop Tower and the only ride that I need to go on there. There are some other fun rides like the Schwartzkopf flats and the Break Dancer, but there coaster collection is really lacking, its starting to look even worst with SFDK get Superman. As for Gilroy, I agree with you there too, it looks like a great park that needs no changes, but a new major attraction would be nice.
  13. Finally! I was waiting for a moment of hope like this, let hope this company knows what there doing!
  14. ^ Awesome video! I haven't to been SCBW in while so I forget how amazing it looks at night!
  15. It is not electrically powered at all, totally gravity powered. I meant powered as in " You can control your speed" powered
  16. ^It's sort of half powered. It has a lift hill and everything but you can control your speed and you manually stop your sled with a brake as well.
  17. Out of the 4 you motioned I would recommend Skipping Universal and going to Disney. Like someone said before, its not much of a park and it's pretty pricy for what it is. Disney, on the other hand, has LOTS of great rides and shows, instead of just a few. The other thing is that the distance between Knott's and Magic Mountain about an hour with no traffic, but this is LA its that's completely impossible. Try to make Knott's and Disneyland your 2 "priority" parks, and if you can, go to Magic Mountain.

Space shot Jet Star II Ragin' Cajun Scorpion's Tail and much, much more! Thanks for reading if you haven't read all the update's, go to page 1!
  19. OK, so im really, REALLY sorry for how long this update took, but Ive been really busy with High School. So I present to you the final update of BERT!!! Fun Plex- Fun Plex is a cool family fun center type park with some rare/ old school rides and a great looking water park! The main resin we where there was because of The Big Ohhhh!, a Pinfari Zyklon which was fun, but it was really only worth a credit. Park City Mountain Resort- This resort, located in the famous Park City, Utah, has some VERY nice architecture and two really awesome Wiegand rides- The Alpine Slide and the Alpine Coaster! The Alpine slide is very long and your are able to race another person if you want. You have to take a ski lift up to a trail, and then walk what seemed like half a mile it to get to the start, but its SO worth it! The more well know attraction at the resort it the Alpine Coaster, which is, shockingly, Wiegand Alpine Coaster! Its also is very long but this is a lift hill, so no walking half a mile! The ride was awesome, very fast with lost of airtime and even more crazy laterals, and the best part its that the PCMR actually encourage rides to go as fast as possible! So its time for the first park, Fun Plex! Were here at Fun Plex, but it looks like they replaced it with a wooden jail!! I'm just kidding! But you do have to walk through this pizza place to get to the park. They have Rock-o-plane here?! Noway!!! But were here for this! Yep, its a Zyklon! Lots classic flats here. The waterpark looked great! But we didn't have time to go Random Carousel Here are some of the parts for the parks new 500ft Intamin Stand up Inverted Flying Aqua Trax Woody!! Here's the park map for ya! The mini golf course The go-karts that raps around The Big Ohhhh! You see! Speaking of The Big Ohhhh!, its time to ride! It was a fun coaster, but I thought it was really only worth the credit. It does take your picture though!! Whats this? It's a Chance Chaos, and its WORKING!! We didn't have time to ride though. I used to love this game! It wouldn't be an arcade with out Skee-ball! Bye Bye Fun Plex, thanks for the credit! Next up, Park City!! Were Finally here at Park City, the last stop on BERT All of the bus's we saw in Park City looked this awesome! It started to rain a little, but that's OK! All of the buildings looked great! But this area was kind of creepy because of how empty it was! Some of the parts for PCMR's new 2000 ft launched woody!! Most (if not all) of this pictures would look really different in the winter! More carousel randomness! There's the Alpine slide in all it's awesome glory!! You see all that twisted grey track, that's the Alpine Coaster!! The mini golf course looked a little make shift. Rock climbing on a fake mountain, in the mountains, there's something kind of wrong about that. You see those tiny beige spots WAY up in the hill, that's the Alpine Slide! Oh yeah, there's zip lining here too! Yea Wiegand! Yep, its huge! It it where to count this as a credit, it would be WAY up there! This is where the sleds go to sleep at night. Yeah, my brother loved the Alpine Slide! More zip lining! Did I mention that the buildings looked awesome? Thanks Park City for your awesomeness!!! Thanks for reading the last update!!!!!!!
  20. Its great to see another Zierer launch coaster out there! I can't wait to see what the layout will look like!
  21. Haha, very cool! I wish more parks would do clever little things like this!
  22. I don't see how Margate's coaster is not a looping star. A silver arrow is pretty much a Schwarzkopf Doppel Looping, only smaller and with one loop. Margate's coaster does not mach that layout.
  23. Out of all the games out there, I think Rollercoaster Tycoon might be the number 1 game you should NOT turn into a movie! I could see short film/video where a virtual themepark comes to life, but not a movie, it seem like it would get boring after while. I did read this crazy Alton Towers book where these two kids live at Atlon Towers and it turns out to be magic, but if that was the movie, it would be to weird! And besides, everyone know that you if you want to make a roller coaster movie, it has to be about a mad bomber trying to blow up a Schwarzkopf!
  24. Get a decent sized house with a HUGE backyard with a big hill Put Greased Lighting from Atroworld in the backyard Put one of those scary A.R.M drop tower in the backyard Add a terrain woody on the big hill in the backyard Add a big pool with a ProSlide Rocket and a Whitewater Aqua loop Add a private airway with a few small planes and a private jet Put Escalator: the ride in my house Go on EVERY TPR trip!! That would be awesome!!!!
  25. Superman Ultimate Flight! Its at my home and the thing just looks insane!!
