Mine would be the pig. That and nothing like seeing the Corky behind you that used to be at my old home park (Boblo). -

You're right, but I meant to say, if the layoutwas going to be official, and I mean if, it just isn't impressing me one bit. Nice artwork though. -

persnally, I'm not impressed with the layout. I mean, I feel ripped off, DB got a splashdown, and Behemoth didn't... -
Griffin does Michigan's Adventure!
CorkscrewFoley replied to GriffyTiffy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I had rode Thunderhawk when it was at Geauga Lake, and it was a bit rough, nothing too much to write home about. My other SLC is Top Gun, and I found it to be rather smooth. I will say this, I do love the SLCs for the sheer fact that it's nothing but leg choppers. As for your pics, good job. One question, have they connected the dead end where Thundrhawk is? I have the park map somewhere, but I haven't bee yet. I did hear good things. Keep it up the good work. -
O'm quite shockd to hear of this, but still, like what was mentioned, one death in 37 years isn't bad--considering how often the monorail is used. Still, i was under the impression they were using the GPS. On a side note, did anyone see the article yesterday on Yahoo? the image to go with it was a Togo...quite odd, if you ask me.

I'd count them as two...different locations. But I'm shameless like that. -
Nah, I think he'd rather do a game about donkeys first...

Photo TR: Six Flags over Texas
CorkscrewFoley replied to jedimaster1227's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
Nice TR/with the pics. I seem to hold my breath every time I read a TR for SFOT or SFoG, mainly because of Shockwave or Mindbender. I've yet to do a looping Schwarz, and maybe soon I'll get my chance. -

Beech Bend Discussion Thread
CorkscrewFoley replied to Jonathan's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I have to say, that's a mighty kind gesture on Beech Bend's part. It's a bit of free publicity, but that's alright too. -
Nice pics and trip report. I loved the combination of colour and black and white...too bad you didn't have any sepia lying around.

Last two movies I've seen, on Saturday was Step Brothers, insanely hilarious. My buddy Scott and I will still quote from the film... Today on Scream, I saw Carnival of the Souls. If you're into surrealism, then it might be your cup of tea...and I should note that this film inspired George A Romero for Dawn of the Dead.
