The bone yard is really neat looking. I would love to have some of that "stuff" that's just sitting around. -

I will vouch for the potato pancakes. They are sooo good. I can't wait to get back to Knoebels for A) more rides on Phoenix and B) more of the food I was too stuffed to try. -

If you look closely under the panel to the left, you can see the operator is very considerate. He has a tin can spittoon for his chaw. -

Go for the Pierogies, but not the fried ones around the park. ( though they are good for a walking food)Get the ones sauteed in onions and butter (oh gawd its bad but oh so good) at the stand outside the sit down restaurant, Also get the fresh cooked potato pancakes. there at a stand all by themselves, and they do take a while to cook, but they are yummy. The park has so many food options that are really good that you won't be able to try them all. We tried, but just ran out of stomach room. -

A good flat ground flume can be found at Camden Park in Huntington West Virginia. Odd, but cool too. -
Mr Nrthwnd, CP is a must do. Although I haven't lived in Ohio for many years, The Point has always been a magical place, I grew up there when the new coaster was the Blue Streak and the only other coaster was the Scamper. It is amazing how things have changed yet still remain the same. I could go on forever with stories. As a kid I remember waiting in long lines for the Cedar Creek Mine ride, the pine walls in the cue station ramp that are still there to this day from 40+ years ago. I was fascinated by the texture of the walls as a kid and ran my fingers over them again after so many years last summer. Much has changed, yet there are so many neat hidden gems from way back. The only true way to experience and soak up all that is the Point is to stay at the Breakers for an extended vacation. We did last year for 4 nites/5 days after a 10 year absence and loved every minute. So much history, so much fun.

I find it incredible, that a small "ish" park can run such fantastic operations and a huge chain like , Um say, Un named flags, can't even come close to that kind of efficiency. It is mind boogie-ing -

^ I haven't had the chance yet to ride Diamondback. Most likely this summer. I was surprised by Apollo because I had no expectations and hadn't read any reviews. After riding Diamod,my opinion of AC may change. 305 is a whole different monster and I can see why some people dont' care for it, even though I could ride that one all day too. But that's whats fun about this hobby. Always a new coaster to try.

^^ I don't know what it is about some log flumes. I've been on some where one time you only get a few drops on you and other times I've gotten soaked. Example, BGT's flume. I would really like to know why too. -

It does look a little odd. Might be the angle or the closeness? It might look better a bit farther away.
